KIDS MINISTRY (K - 6th Graders)

FAMILY ADVENT DEVOTION AVAILABLE NEXT SUNDAY!The word Advent means “to prepare” and that is what Christians do during this time of year; we prepare our hearts and minds to celebrate the birth of Jesus, God’s Only Son. Next Sunday during our Kids Bible Fellowship hours, children will receive a Family Advent Devotion booklet to be used at home. When used with a Nativity, this weekly devotion will guide you and your family in a Bible lesson, reading Bible verses, things to ponder, questions to ask, and a time of prayer. We hope you will use this devotion to help your family prepare to celebrate the birth of Our Savior, Jesus Christ.THRIVE PACKING PARTY WAS A SUCCESS!Our THRIVE Ministry (ministers to 4th, 5th & 6th graders) hosted an Operation Christmas Child Packing Party last Sunday. We had (50) preteens packing, wrapping, and praying over 67 shoeboxes filled with gifts for children in need. Thank you to our THRIVE preteens and volunteers for an amazing day of ministry. Our next THRIVE event will be a Progressive Christmas Dinner on December 5th from 6-9 PM; please see our webpage for details and to register.KIDS BIBLE FELLOWSHIP – Explore the Bible: Kids In a culture starving for truth, God is calling us to do more than read His Word, He is calling us to know it and live it. That's why Explore the Bible: Kids provides a book-by-book Bible study that takes our K-6th grade kids deep into Scripture promoting transformation through God's Word in everyday life. Parents, this week you should have received an email highlighting the Bible story we taught your child in Kids Bible Fellowship. We hope you’ll use this email as a way to continue the conversation beyond Sunday morning and into the week.

EXPLORE THE BIBLE: KIDS . . . there’s an App for that!Explore the Bible: Kids has an app to help kids and parents reinforce the Bible study lessons. Kids and parents can use the app to learn Bible Fun Facts, review the Bible lessons, and memorize Bible verses all while reinforcing the Gospel message. Go to the App Store on your cell phone or iPad and search Explore the Bible: Kids today!

B.L.A.S.T. jr. and B.L.A.S.T. t-shirts are available for purchase for $10. Kids receive an extra Bible Buck for wearing them on Wednesday nights. Pick one up at the check in desk.
