    SAFETY INFORMATION

    For your safety, read this manual thoroughlybefore operating the EEWH311A Tire Changer

    The EEWH311A Tire Changer is intended for use by properly trained automotivetechnicians. The safety messages presented in this section and throughout the manualare reminders to the operator to exercise extreme care when changing tires with theseproducts.

    There are many variations in procedures, techniques, tools, and parts for changingtires, as well as the skill of the individual doing the work. Because of the vast numberof wheel and tire applications and potential uses of the product, the manufacturercannot possibly anticipate or provide advice or safety messages to cover every situation.It is the automotive technician’s responsibility to be knowledgeable of the wheels andtires being changed. It is essential to use proper service methods and change tires inan appropriate and acceptable manner that does not endanger your safety, the safetyof others in the work area or the equipment or vehicle being serviced.

    It is assumed that, prior to using the EEWH311A Tire Changer, the operator has athorough understanding of the wheels and tires being changed. In addition, it is assumedhe has a thorough knowledge of the operation and safety features of the rack, lift, orfloor jack being utilized, and has the proper hand and power tools necessary to servicethe vehicle in a safe manner.

    Before using the EEWH311A Tire Changer, always refer to and follow the safetymessages and service procedures provided by the manufacturers of the equipmentbeing used and the vehicle being serviced.

    Tires and rims that are not the same diameter are mismatched.

    ••••• NEVER attempt to mount or inflate any tire and rim that are mismatched.••••• ALWAYS check to see that tire and rim diameters are the same.

    A mismatched tire and rim could explode causing death or serious personal injury.

    Over-pressurized tires can explode causing flying debris.

NEVER inflate tires that are damaged, rotten or worn.••••• NEVER inflate ‘Split Rim Wheels’ on this tire changer or remove them and use onlyan approved safety inflation cage designed for this purpose.••••• Lock turntable clamp on inside of rim before attempting to inflate tire.••••• Use approved tire bead lubricant before removing or installing tire on rim.••••• ALWAYS position the “Safety Restraint Arm” over the wheel to hold it to theturntable while inflating if so equipped.••••• If a tire explodes on this tire changer, STOP using it until the “Safety RestraintArm” has been replaced, which must be done even if no damage is seen.••••• NEVER place head or body over a tire during inflation process.••••• Use short bursts of air to seat tire beads. Check tire air pressure

    1.0 INTRODUCTION

    Congratulations on your purchase of the Snap-onEEWH311A air-electric tire changer. This tire changeris designed for ease of operation, safe handling of rims,reliability and speed. This combination of featuresmeans more profit and added versatility for your shop,enabling you to work with aluminum or magnesium alloywheels with reduced risk of damage. With a minimumof maintenance and care your Snap-on EEWH311ATire Changer will provide many years of trouble-freeoperation.

    Please read this manual thoroughly before operatingthe unit. Instructions on use, maintenance andoperational requirements of the machine are coveredin this manual.

    INTEGRATED BEAD SEATING JETS - Air inflation jets areintegrated into the turntable clamping jaws to insure full beadseating force directly into the tire cavity regardless of tire diameter.

    ADJUSTABLE BEAD BREAKER OPENING - Simple two-positionbead breaker pin adjustment allows for readjusting breaker to fitlarger OD tires.

    TWIN CYLINDER CLAMPING POWER - Two 3" clamping cylindersprovide uniform clamping pressure throughout the stroke(regardless of rim sizes) as well as providing 25% more clampingpower than most single clamping cylinder tire changers.Additionally these two smaller cylinders reduce the critical turntableto cabinet distance, reducing the stress on the transmission.

    RUST PROOF VALVES AND CYLINDERS - Critical bead breakingcylinder is lined with rustproof polyfiber liner for years of rust freeoperation. Non-lined cylinders will pit causing bead breaker powerloss.

    LIFETIME LUBRICATED POLYMER VALVES - Critical footvalvesfabricated from glass/fiber self-lubricating material providing yearsof maintenance free operation.

    WATER SEPARATOR AND AUTOMATIC OILER - Lubricates allair used for machine operation, does not lubricate air used for tireinflation, as do some competitive models.

    HIGH TORQUE 1HP MOTOR - (air-electric models) Industrialstrength high torque turntable drive motor eliminates tire remountstalling on low profile high performance tires (UL/CSA approved ).

    3-YEAR TRANSMISSION WARRANTY - Designed for extremelyheavy use, the critical motor to turntable transmission linkagecarries a full three (3) year replacement warranty.

    PNEUMATIC BEAD ASSIST ARMUp/Down Control Switch - Toggle switch allows single fingeroperation of all pneumatic PBA functions, with or without gloves.

    Top Bead Roller - Provides easily controlled pneumatic power todrive upper beads down into the wheel drop center (while tire isturning) for easy lubrication prior to dismounting. Also providespneumatic power assistance for safely remounting second beadon extremely low profile and Run Flat design tires.

    Bead Depressor - Provides easily controlled pneumatic power todepress the tires sidewall during the remount cycle. This will preventpremature bead seating before the entire bead has been reinstalledon the wheel. Provides an added level of safety by keeping thetechnicians hands away from the bead area during this potentialpinch point procedure. Additionally the Bead Depressor “follows”the tire around while turning to guarantee successful remount firsttime everytime.

    Bottom Bead Roller - Provides easily controlled pneumatic powerto unseat stubborn lower beads which may have accidentallyreseated after the original bead breaking procedure. Also allows atechnician to raise and hold wider tires up, to assist in safely andeasily getting the second bead up onto the mount/demount head.

    Wheel Centering Depressor - Provides downward pressure on arim when working to clamp a low profile tire/rim combination. Willassist the technician in correctly seating the rim clamps betweenthe tire and the rim when clamping from outside in where it is difficultto depress the tire sidewall enough to expose the rim edge.

    SAFETY RESTRAINT ARM (OPTIONAL)TIRE/RIM ASSEMBLY RESTRAINT - Safety Restraint Armrestrains tire and rim assembly to the tire machine during theinflation process reducing potential for injury caused by the unlikelyevent of catastrophic tire or rim failure.

    SIMPLE SWING ARM DESIGN - SRA arm easily swings to theleft when not in use allowing the technician to quickly and safelyperform the inflation process without disrupting the tire changingprocedure.

    GRAVITY LOCK - SRA lock mechanism operates without anymechanical cam system eliminating the possibility of systemdeterioration or mis-adjustment from mechanical wear.

    POSITIONING SAFETY INTERLOCK SWITCH - Integrated switchinsures that SRA arm is centered on the tire/rim assembly beforethe inflation process can begin.

    ANTI-ROTATION LOCK - Prevents SRA from rotating horizontallyduring inflation process.

    1.6 GENERAL CAUTIONS

    A. DURING THE USE AND MAINTENANCE OF THEMACHINE IT IS MANDATORY TO COMPLY WITHALL LAWS AND REGULATIONS FOR ACCIDENTPREVENTION.

    B. THE ELECTRICAL POWER SOURCE MUSTHAVE A GROUND CABLE AND THE GROUNDCABLE OF THE MACHINE MUST BE CONNECTEDTO THE GROUND CABLE OF THE POWERSOURCE.

    C. BEFORE ANY MAINTENANCE OR REPAIRS AREACCOMPLISHED THE MACHINE MUST BEDISCONNECTED FROM THE AIR ANDELECTRICAL SUPPLY.

    D. NEVER WEAR TIES, CHAINS OR OTHER LOOSEARTICLES WHEN USING, MAINTAINING ORREPAIRING THE MACHINE. LONG HAIR IS ALSODANGEROUS AND SHOULD BE KEPT UNDER AHAT. THE USER MUST WEAR PROPER SAFETYATTIRE - GLOVES, SAFETY SHOES ANDGLASSES.

    2.0 INSTALLATION

    Your new Snap-on EEWH311A Tire Changer requiresa simple installation procedure requiring only a fewmoments. Included in the literature packet with yourmachine is an instructional video. Section #2 of thevideo clearly details all installation procedures. Followthese instructions carefully to insure proper and safeoperation.

    The Tire Changer is delivered mounted to a woodenskid. Remove tire changer from its mounts carefully,taking care to avoid any back strain.

    Place Changer where proper operation will beunobstructed to all sides. Install the machine in acovered and dry place.

    Once placed in the desired location the tire changermust be bolted to the floor.Secure the machine to the floor through the holesprovided in the cabinet, using 3/8x2” anchor bolts(Recommended).

    2.1 ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION

    BUILDING ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION MUST BEMADE BY A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN.

    Check that the electrical specifications of the powersource are the same as the machine. The machineuses 110v, 60 hz, grounded single phase 20 ampsource. Electric specifications are clearly marked ona label at the rear of the machine.

    FAILURE TO PROVIDE PROPER ELECTRICALSUPPLY AND GROUNDING WILL CREATE ASHOCK HAZARD TO THE OPERATOR.

    2.2 AIR INSTALLATION

    THE AIR INSTALLATION MUST BE MADE ONLY BYQUALIFIED PERSONNEL.

    EXCESSIVE AIR PRESSURE CAN SERIOUSLYINJURE PERSONNEL AND DAMAGE THEMACHINE.

    Ensure that the line pressure is within the limits requiredby the machine. If the pressure exceeds 170 psi (12bar) it is mandatory to install a pressure regulatorbefore the air inlet of the machine.

    If the air pressure is lower than the minimum requiredof 110 psi (8 bar) the clamping power of the turntableand the bead breaker power may be insufficient forcertain tires and substantially reduces tire changerperformance.It is suggested that the shop air supply be equippedwith a water separator/dryer type modification formaximum performance.

    After ensuring all the above proceed as follows:

    A. Connect the machine to the air supply with a rubberhose (rated for the pressure) with an internal diameterof no less than 1/4” (6 mm).- The air inlet fitting is provided with ¼” NPT taperedpipe threads.

    WARNING! BEFORE CONNECTING THE MACHINETO THE AIR SUPPLY BE SURE ALL PERSONNELARE CLEAR OF THE MACHINE AND NO ITEMS ARELEFT ON THE TURNTABLE.

    B. It is strongly recommended that an air valve shut-off be installed between the shop air supply and thetire changer for routine maintenance and in case ofan emergency.

    C. Should you install any optional accessories, pleaserefer to the relevant instructions.

    D. Ensure the functional ability of the air lubricator byensuring that the glass sight bowl is filled with airlubricant.

    3.0 CONTROLS

    Before operating the machine, take the time tofamiliarize yourself with the operation and function ofall the controls (Figure 3.0-1).

    A Press down and release, the first pedal fromthe left: the column tilts backwards.Do it again: the column tilts forward.

    B Press down and release the second pedal fromthe left: the jaws of the turntable will retract. Do itagain: the jaws will expand. If you press the pedal

    prior to the end of the stroke and release, the jawsmay be stopped in any position.

    C Press down and hold, the second pedal fromthe right: the turntable turns clockwise.1. 3/4 down approximately, the turntable rotatesat the minimum speed (8 rpm approx.). The torqueis maximum in this condition.2. All the way down the turntable rotates at themaximum speed (14 rpm approx.).Lift the pedal and the turntable turns counter-clockwise.

    D Open the bead breaker arm. Press down andhold, the first pedal from the right: by doing thisyou operate the bead breaker blade and the armwill move towards the machine. Release the pedal:the bead breaker blade will retract.

    E The push button on the handle allows to releasethe arms and position the mount/demount tool inthe correct position.

    1.To unlock and let the slide with the tool go up: pushthe button firmly with the forefinger, in the direction ofthe arrow (Fig. 3.0-2).

    H. The turntable jaws can be positioned in threedifferent ways. Push the lever on the left side ofeach jaw and shift at the same each one (Fig. 3.0-6 / 3.0-7).

    N.B.: Turntable capacity can be changed beforepedal control.

    4.0 MOUNTING AND DEMOUNTING PRECAUTIONS

    IMPORTANT!BEFORE MOUNTING A TIRE ON A RIM, PAYATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING:

    A. THE RIM MUST BE CLEAN AND IN GOODCONDITION: IF NECESSARY CLEAN IT AFTERREMOVING ALL WHEEL-WEIGHTS INCLUDING‘TAPE WEIGHTS’ INSIDE THE RIM.

    B. THE TIRE MUST BE CLEAN AND DRY, WITHOUTANY DAMAGE TO THE BEAD.

    C. REPLACE THE RUBBER VALVE STEM WITH ANEW ONE OR REPLACE THE ‘O’ RING IF THEVALVE STEM IS MADE OF METAL.

    D. IF THE TIRE REQUIRES A TUBE, MAKE SURETHE TUBE IS DRY AND IN GOOD CONDITION.

    E. LUBRICATION IS NECESSARY TO MOUNT THETIRE CORRECTLY AND GET A PROPERCENTERING. BE SURE YOU ARE USINGAPPROVED LUBRICANT ONLY.

    F. MAKE SURE THE TIRE IS THE CORRECT SIZEFOR THE RIM.

    4.1 DEMOUNTING TUBELESS TIRES

    A. Remove all wheel-weights from the rim. Removethe valve stem or valve stem core and deflate the tire(Fig. 4.1-1).

    B. Break both beads.Hold open the Bead Breaker, roll the tire/rim into theBreaker area (Fig. 4.1-2). Ensure that the tire/rimassembly is flat against the rubber breaker pads onthe side of the machine. Make certain that the beadbreaker blade is not over the top of any portion of therim. Now activate the bead breaker pedal. As soonas the bead dislodges from the rim, release the breakerfoot pedal. It may be necessary to rotate the tire 90degrees and repeat the above procedure to dislodgeall beads.

    Pay extra attention during this operation as it is easyto mistakenly keep your foot on the bead breakingpedal too long. This could potentially result in beador rim damage (Fig. 4.1-2)

    C. Set the rim clamps to the proper position: retractclamps to clamp the wheel from the outside.

    When clamping small wheels (14" or smaller) from theoutside, set the clamps at a diameter nearly equal tothe rim diameter before placing the wheel on theclamps. This will help avoid the possibility of pinchingthe tire as the clamps retract.

    D. Liberally lubricate both beads. Place the wheelWITH DROP CENTER UP (Fig. 4.1-3a) on theturntable, and clamp in position. It may be necessaryto hold the tire and wheel down while clamping to insurecontact between rim and clamp as shown in 4.1-3a.

    E. Gently position the mount/demount head in contactwith rim edge, now manually push the lock lever upand lock it into place. The mount/demount headautomatically moves vertically up and away from therim edge. Turn the swing arm adjustment knobclockwise until the mount/demount head moveshorizontally away from the rim flange by approximately1/16" (2mm): this is necessary to avoid any rim contactduring the changing process. (Fig. 4.1-4).

    F. Insert the mount/demount tool between the beadand the mount/demount head. Pry the bead onto themount/demount head using the mount/demount headas the leverage point. To make this operation easier,insure that the bead of the tire, 180º across from themount/demount head, is in the drop center of thewheel. Push the tire into the drop center with your handor bead depressor tool if necessary.It is suggested that the mount/demount tool beremoved after lifting the bead onto the mount/demounthead (Fig. 4.1-5), however, you may remove the toolafter the bead has been removed.

    G. Rotate the turntable clockwise (pedal down) and, atthe same time, push down on the tire sidewall to movethe bead into the drop center of the rim (Fig. 4.1-6).

    H. Repeat the process for removing the lower bead.This time, lift the bead opposite to the mount/demounthead to keep it in the drop center (Fig. 4.1-7).

    If you meet difficulty during this operation, use the beadpresser assist device PBA (see chapter 5.3).

    B. Lock the rim to the turntable and rotate it so that thevalve is at the 2 o’clock position. Place the tire to bemounted on the rim. Swing the mount/demount arm inso that the mount/demount head is in the working position.(Fig. 4.2-3) Position the lower bead on top of the mount/demount head and UNDER the mounting finger of themount/demount head (Fig. 4.2-3). Turn the wheelclockwise (right pedal down) while simultaneouslypushing the tire down into the drop center, opposite tothe mount/demount head.

    C. Mount the upper bead following the same directionsin section B. With low profile tires the Bead Holding Clamp(option EAA0247C70A Fig. 4.2-4) can help to preventthe top bead from prematurely seating during themounting cycle. At the same you can use the PBA assistNOTE: Bead Holding Clamp must be removed prior tocoming full circle and impacting the mount/demount head.

    4.3 IF THE TOP TIRE BEAD IS DIFFICULT TO MOUNT

    Follow these instructions using the Bead HoldingClamp p/n EAA0247C70A (optional).

    A. After installing, the bottom bead insert the tiretool to the left of the bead head as shown (Fig. 4.3-1a).To protect decorative rims use protective sleeve p/nEAA0247G04A (optional).

    4.4 INFLATION OF TUBELESS TIRES.

    Make sure that both beads are properly lubricated.

    BEAD SEATING IS THE MOST DANGEROUS PARTOF MOUNTING A TIRE.

    IT IS POSSIBLE TO INCORRECTLY MOUNT TIRESTHAT ARE 1/2" SMALLER IN DIAMETER THAN THERIM THAT THEY ARE MOUNTED ON. WHILETHESE BEADS WILL SEAL, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TOGET THEM TO SEAT IN THEIR PROPER POSITION.EXPLOSION OF A TIRE MAY CAUSE SEVEREINJURY OR DEATH.

    SAFETY RESTRAINT ARM MUST BE IN PLACEPRIOR TO ATTEMPTING BEAD SEATING ORINFLATION.

    NEVER EXCEED THE MAXIMUM PRESSUREALLOWED BY THE TIRE MANUFACTURER.

    IF YOU CLAMPED THE RIM FROM THE OUTSIDEIT MUST BE UNCLAMPED WHEN INFLATING BUTONLY AFTER THE SRA IS IN PLACE.

    THE OPERATOR MUST STAND CLEAR FROM THEWHEEL WHEN INFLATING, AND PRESSURE MUSTBE MONITORED FREQUENTLY TO AVOID OVERINFLATION.

    BEFORE INFLATING A TIRE, CHECK THECONDITION OF THE TIRE AND THE RIM.

    Inflate tire according to manufacturer ’srecommendations.

    Due to unusual configurations or the stacking of tiresthe inflation process may be difficult. To assist withthis problem the Snap-on Tire Changers are equippedwith bead seater jets integrated into the tabletop.

    To utilize the bead seater proceed as follows:A. Position the safety restraint arm over center of wheelassembly. The safety arm is lifted upward by graspingthe safety restraint position knob and lifting upwardwhile simultaneously depressing the anti-rotation lockarm. Swing SRA arm assembly so the rubber retaineris centered over the rim. Note that air pressure to theinflation hose will not flow until the arm is centeredover the rim.

    B. Connect the inflation hose to the valve stem.

    C. Lift the tire with both hands so that the upper beadis sealed to the rim edge (Fig. 4.4-1).

    D. Press the inflation pedal down swiftly to the end ofits travel to activate the bead seater jets. (Page 10Fig. 1.2-1 item 8)The top bead is already sealed by the lifting motion.Therefore, the air from the bead seater jets will enterthe tire impacting on the top sidewall and reboundinto the bottom sidewall driving it into place and seatingthe bead, creating an air seal.

    WHEN OPERATING THE BEAD SEATER, ALWAYSWEAR SAFETY GLASSES TO AVOID INJURY TOEYES.

    E. Install valve core, if removed. Complete inflation tomanufacturer’s suggested pressure. Never exceedpressure listed on tire sidewall.

    5.0 DEMOUNTING TUBE-TYPE TIRES

    A. For breaking the bead operate as described for thetubeless tires in section 4.1. point A to F.

    In this case the valve is part of the tube.

    NOTICE!BE CAREFUL NOT TO DAMAGE THE TUBEDURING THE BEAD-BREAKING OPERATION. THEVALVE SHOULD BE OPPOSITE TO THE BLADE OFTHE BEAD BREAKER.

    B. To demount the first bead, place the valve at 2o’clock position.

    NOTICE!BE CAREFUL NOT TO CATCH THE TUBE WITHTHE MOUNT/DEMOUNT TOOL, WHEN LIFTINGTHE BEAD ON THE MOUNTING FINGER.

    After demounting the first bead carefully, remove thetube before demounting the second bead, as describedin section 4.1.

    5.1 MOUNTING TUBE-TYPE TIRES

    A. Perform steps described in section 4.2.A.DO NOT lubricates the tube. Talc can be used to assistwith tire positioning if necessary.

    B. Confirm that the tube is the correct size for the tireto be mounted. (Fig. 5.1-1).

    C. Inflate the tube slightly: if held with the index fingerit should bend a little (Fig. 5.1-2).

    5.3 OPERATING THE PNEUMATIC BEAD ASSIST

    All Snap-on model EEWH311A High PerformanceModel come equipped with a specially designed“Pneumatic Bead Assist Device” (referred to as thePBA). The PBA offers the combined benefits of bothreducing the amount of physical exertion required bythe tire technician as well as providing an added levelof safety by allowing the machine to do the work ratherthen the technician. Simply put the PBA allows thetechnician to apply pneumatic power when mostneeded in the tire changing process.

    The PBA consists of three separate devices which areattached to a powerful pneumatic cylinder which raisesand lowers the devices as needed.

    First is the Upper Bead Roller. The Bead Roller canbe used to drive stiff upper beads down into the dropcenter of the rim. This function will be useful both whenlubricating a tire prior to being removed from the rimas well as when remounting the second bead of a HighPerformance or Runflat design tire (Fig. 5.3-1).

    Move the bead roller into position overtop of the tiressidewall. While the turntable is turning lower the rollerdown into contact with the sidewall. Depress the beaddown 1-2” now you may insert the lubrication swab tosafely lubricate the upper bead.

    Second is the Bead Depressor. The Bead Depressorconsists of a formed rubber head mounted on amovable arm designed to comfortably depress the tiressidewall. The size and mobility of the arm will allowthe formed head to depress the tire at any positionaround the 360 degrees of rotation. The BeadDepressor will be useful numerous times throughoutthe remount cycle. When remounting a tire the beaddepressor will ensure that the bead stays down in thedrop center of the rim until the entire bead has beenremounted onto the rim.

    Once the first bead has been remounted move thebead depressor into position just behind the mountdemount head. Now depress the second bead down1-3” . Activate the turntable, as the second bead movesacross the mount/demount head the bead depressorwill follow the tire around and ensure that the beaddoes not prematurely seat causing the mount/demounthead to jam (Fig. 5.3-2).

    The third tool integrated into the PBA is the BottomBead Roller. This device will be useful at several timesduring the demount cycle. First the bottom roller canbe used to unseat a stubborn lower bead which mayhave reseated after the bead breaking process andbefore tire removal. Secondarily the lower roller canbe used to hold a wide tire up after the first bead hasbeen removed. This will assist in getting the secondbead up onto the mount demount head (Fig. 5.3-3).

    When working to loosen a stubborn lower bead simplyswing the bottom bead roller under the lower sidewalland apply slow upward pressure. Be careful not tomistakenly swing far enough in to contact the rim.

    When working to safely secure the second bead forremoval, insert the tire tool all the way past first andsecond bead. Now swing the bottom bead roller intoposition under the lower sidewall and lift. As the sidewallcomes up, so will the tire bar easily flipping onto themount/demount head.H:

    5.4 MOUNTING AND DEMOUNTING MOTORCYCLETIRES

    To mount and demount motorcycle/ ATV or motor-scoter wheels it is necessary to utilize the 8” motorcyclejaws (part number EAA0304G34A).

    The bead-breaking, mounting and demountingtechnique is the same as per the car, tubeless or tube-type tires.

    NOTICE!MOTORCYCLE RIMS MUST ALWAYS BE CLAMPEDFROM THE OUTSIDE. AIR PRESSURE MUST NOTEXCEED 110 PSI (8 BAR) WHEN CLAMPINGMOTORCYCLE RIMS.

    6.0 MAINTENANCE

    BEFORE STARTING ANY MAINTENANCEOPERATION ENSURE THAT THE MACHINE ISDISCONNECTED FROM THE AIR AND ELECTRICSUPPLY.

    A. Periodically clean the vertical hexagonal rod withliquid detergent. After this immediately lubricate witha light lubricating oil (Fig. 6.0-1).

    B. Periodically clean all moving metal parts andlubricate with oil.

    C. Weekly clean the teeth of the jaws (1 Fig. 6.0-2)with a wire brush, check the nylon clamping jaw insert(2) and replace if worn.Clean the lock / un-lock mechanism of the clampingjaw (3) and slightly lubricate it.

    D. Inspect and replace as necessary the plastic mount/demount head insert. The insert is held in place by asmall roll pin. Drive the pin out with a punch, replaceafter new insert is installed.

    E. Lubricate piston rods of turntable air cylinders withoil as needed.

    F. Periodically wash all plastic parts with cold waterand soap or window cleaner.

    G. Check the bead breaker pads. Replace if worn.

    H. Discharge water from air filter every day!! Do thisby turning the knob “B” clockwise and push upward.Water will automatically be discharged. (see ‘B’ at Fig.6.0-3).

    I. Check the automatic air lubricator oil level weekly.When adding oil to the lubricator, disconnect the airsupply first, remove the fill screw ‘A’, and add oil asneeded. Make sure seals are in place when replacingthe cap.
