Measuring Function
‧Please press once for enabling Area measuring.
‧Laser will be activated when entering Area measuring
‧Follow the instructions on main screen to measure
width and length.
‧Once you finish all instructions, Area is showed on screen.
‧To change display unit, hold Standby Screen

‧Laser will be avtivated when entering Volume measuring.
‧Follow the instructions on main screen to
measure width, length and height.
‧Once you finish all instructions,
volume is showed on screen.

Stake-out
‧
‧Set your stake and easily get notified when using Dyna-Measuring.
1. Press three times to edit length of Stake.
3. Press to increase your value.
4. Press to decrease your value.
5. Press to shift between numbers
6. When value is decided, press to finish setting.
7. To restore zero, press
HANS provide Stake-out function to accelerate your measuring jobs.

1. When in Dyna-measuring mode,
You could notice arrows will be appeared at the
left side of number.
2. Follow the arrow, you could get every stakes you need.
3. When approaching to set Stakes, it will alert you by beeping.

‧All the calculation is based on Pythagorean theorem (a +b =c ) to measure height indirectly.
‧Laser will be activated when entering Indirect measuring. Follow the instructions on screen to get slang range,
horizon range then the height will be displayed on screen.

Before Start Using
Change of Battery
‧HANS is powered by 2 x AA Batteries
‧Battery status will be showed in initial screen.
‧In case if battery icon display continuously,
it shows battery is about 1,000 measure times left.
‧Low power indicator will be twinkling when battery is low.
‧To change new batteries, remove back lid and observing correct
polarity when install new batteries, then close back lid.

*The working range and accuracy depend on how well the energy of laser is reflected from surface
(mostly comes from scattered light) and the target reflectivity. The brightness of laser point to
ambient light intensity or use a target plate (Kodak White) may helps for increasing the working range and the stability of accuracy.
*In favorable condition, accuracy could be in ±1.5 mm(2δ) and a deviation influence of ±0.25mm/m must be taken into count after ten meters.
*In unfavorable condition, such as bright sunlight, rough surface, very short distance, or a poor and extra strong reflected signal may cause the deviation reach or
over ±10mm and also may bring an ambiguous cycle which may lead the measures to an unexpected result..
