Operation Classroom was organized in 1987 to assist the conferences in

revitalizing the laity, by empowering the laity to become more actively

involved in mission.

25 years later we are in a

new conference

, but our focus

remains the same.

This revitalization of the laity comes by following the commands of

Jesus to minister in His name . . .

TO UPGRADE THE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM IN THE UM SCHOOLS

TO ASSIST IN DEVELOPING A MORE COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH CARE

SYSTEM THOUGH THE GANTA AND KISSY HOSPITALS

TO TRAIN PERSONS TO PROVIDE EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL HEALING

IN LIBERIA AND SIERRA LEONE WE HAVE PARTNERED WITH 16 OF THE 50 UM HIGH SCHOOLS

AND 6 OF THE 400 UM ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS

EACH LOCAL CHURCH WILL PARTNER WITH ONE OF THE OC SCHOOLS TO

PROVIDE MEMBERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO. . .

DO GOOD with hands-on mission projects

TO STAY IN LOVE WITH GOD THROUGH SERVING OTHERS

TO TAKE RISKS IN MISSION IN TWO DEVELOPING NATIONS WITH EXTRAVAGANT GENEROSITY

to students who could not attend school otherwise. ($75 or $125 for one work-study grant for one school year.)
