Designed for Machine-OrientedUse

With protection type IP65/NEMA4on the front and ESD, vibrationand shock resistance, Lauer con-trol panels are optimally suited formachine-oriented use in roughindustrial environments.

Due to their compact design, thecontrol panels can be integratedsimply and elegantly even whenthere is only little space.

All Lauer panels are distinguishedfrom competitors in appearancethrough visible quality characteri-stics such as: milled aluminumfront plate and robust durableshort-stroke keys for key devices.Additionally, there is integrationcompatibility between the PCSfamily that has been proved andtested for years and the latestWOP-iT devices.

Due to new WOP-iT device tech-nology, the classical HMI developsinto the intelligent ManagementExecution Interface (MEI).

The control panel (auxiliary devicefor PLC) thus turns into an intelli-gent automation panel that provi-

des the user with new and versati-le application possibilities in theautomation of machines andplants.

WOP-iT devices can be used asclassical HMIs, as data managersand visualization systems – and incombination with an integratedPLC it can form a compact auto-mation device.

Uniform continuity in projectmanagement/programming, datakeeping and communication consi-derably reduces the engineeringand life-cycle costs of an automa-tion solution. WOP-iT provides dri-vers for the various manufacturer-specific PLC programming tools. Inthis way, proprietary PLC systemscan be integrated in the standardi-zed WOP-iT project managementenvironment without any problems.

Within the product range of LAUER control panels, the uniformengineering software WOP-iT-Desi-gner provides for continuous pro-ject planning and management onall graphical WOP-iT control panelsright up to PC-based visualizationstations. For PC solutions, WOP-iT-Designer provides the appropria-te runtime software.

All the WOP-iT functions are conti-nuously available from the smallestWOP-iT-550 control panel up to anIPC. Thus, there are no graduatedvariants of WOP-iT-Designer, i.e.there is no need for recurring addi-tional investments when changingfrom a simple to a complex controlpanel.

Intelligent Project Planning andManagement with WOP-iTthrough high-performancefunctions:

With WOP-iT, project planning andmanagement turns into simple,structured configuration. Configureyour graphical interface rapidly viaextensive, graphical libraries.

Project-specific basic settings canbe made with a few mouse clicksvia Wizards at the beginning of theproject. WOP-iT reduces the timeexpenditure through intelligent datainterfaces for texts, recipes andmessages with unicode-compati-ble language toggling. The files inEXCEL format can be importedand exported rapidly with onemouse click. It provides the projectplanner with a tool for simple andtime-efficient implementation ofcomplex processes.

The structure of WOP-iT providesfor simple integration of WOP-iTinto the overall automation solu-tion. For this purpose, WOP-iToffers high-performance MEI(Management Executive Interface)functions and open interfaces intothe MES, Office and Internet world.

WOP-iT-Control – 2 in 1WOP-iT-Control arecompact devices especi-ally well suited formachinery. They integra-te a PLC and an opera-tor panel into one com-pact device – thus redu-cing the effort for pro-ject planning andmanagement as well asfor assembly.

The WOP-iT-Controldevices are availablewith full graphics capa-bilities and TouchScreensranging from 5.7" to17".

The devices offer apowerful dual-processorsolution, i.e. one proces-sor for the PLC and oneprocessor for the opera-tor panel. This ensures ahigh degree of operatio-nal safety and high per-formance.

The PLC is based on IEC6-1131 of the manufac-turer 3S. The operatorpanel supports all theoperating & monitoringfunctions known inassociation with WOP-iT.

Optionally, an MPI inter-face provides for directcoupling of WOP-iT-Control devices to a Sie-mens-Simatic S7 control-ler for integration withthe Simatic S7 world.
