Data Escrow PROJECTS CCTLD.RU On March 1, 2021, the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ began to carry out data escrow, the escrow agent is "Center for Interaction of Computer Networks "MSK-IX" – the only company accredited by ICANN for Data Escrow in Russia
Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ and MSK-IX introduce backup domain registration system Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ and MSK-IX have implemented a backup system for registering domains in national domains .RU and .РФ, MSK-IX acts as the Operator of the backup registration system (EBERO – Emergency Back-end Registry Operators)

Today, 11 competent organizations cooperate with the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ . In this first year, the cooperation system of the competent organizations and accredited domain registrars received 10,817 requests

Russian Institute for Public Networks joins Policy of cooperation and coordination to prevent misuse of domain names
On April 13, 2021, the Russian Research Institute for the Development of Public Networks (RIPN) joined the Policy of cooperation and coordination to prevent misuse of domain names. As a result, competent organizations and registrars will be able to interact with regard to second-level domain names in .SU using the automated information system

On April 7-9, the 11th Russian Internet Governance Forum RIGF 2021 was held, the Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation Maksut Shadaev spoke at the opening On April 6, Skoltech hosted the First Russian Youth Forum on Internet Governance (Youth RIGF 2021), organized by the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ and the Competence Center for Global IT Cooperation with the support of Skoltech and the Center for International Promotion

In July-August 2021, the second Summer School on Internet Governance was held, organized by the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ together with the Faculty of International Relations of St. Petersburg State University. 127 people from 12 countries of the world applied for participation. The main task of the School is to immerse students in current issues of Internet governance and digital cooperation at the global and local level, to form skills for full participation in international organizations, conferences and dialogues on these topics
Discussion club "Digital Reality" • Online meetings for informal discussion of
the current Internet Governance agenda: high-profile topics, analysis of the results of significant conferences and events
• Experts and practitioners from the industry are invited to participate in the discussions
• The club is open for everyone to join
• Meetings are held 1-2 times a month in Zoom
Coordination Center’s new Youth Council begins work On June 1, a new composition of the Youth Council was approved, which will be in place for one year. It includes 17 members, proactive students from universities in Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod and St. Petersburg, as well as older professionals involved in the analysis of information processes and research in the field of digital law and international relations
The Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ has hosted the International conference for ccTLD registries and registrars of CIS, Central and Eastern Europe since 2008 The main goal of the conference is to involve leading registrars of various national top-level domains in the discussion of Internet-related issues and to organize interaction between registries and registrars of national domains of different countries
