1.0 OPENING COMMENTS

1.1 Call to Order / Quorum Check

1.2 Agenda Review

The agenda was reviewed.

2.0 ACTION ITEM REVIEW

The following action items were closed: NMC-9, NMC-10, NMC-11, NMC-12, NMC-13, NMC-15.

3.0 MEMBERSHIP UPDATE

The following Subscriber Voting Members (UVM) have resigned from NMC:

Andrew Caliendo (Sikorsky) Colby Nicks (Bell Helicopter) George Winchester (Northrop Grumman)

o Note: George will continue to participate as an Alternate

The NMC Chairperson confirmed the following new voting members to NMC:

Jim Cummings (SVM representative from Chemical Processing Task Group) Karen Kim (UVM for Sikorsky) Russell Cole (UVM for Northrop Grumman)

Kevin Ward confirmed Tom Newton of Aircraft X-Ray Laboratories as the new Supplier Support Committee Chairperson, effective 01-Mar-2014.

4.0 COMMITTEE AND SUB-TEAMS STATUS REPORTS

The NMC Committee Structure was reviewed, followed by a status update for each of the committees and sub-teams.

A. Metrics

Bob Bodemuller gave a debriefing on the Metrics Committee. All metrics are green this month. As a reminder, the metrics reported to the Board of Directors have been changed to combine initial and reaccreditation cycle time.

B. Standardization

NOP-012 notification has been sent to the auditors and Task Groups are working towards the milestone. There are roundtable lunch meetings scheduled for Task Group Chairpersons at the February and June Nadcap Meetings.

C. Ethics & Appeals

No open appeals at this time. There is an Export Control activity which will be kicking off, with David Soong as the lead.

D. Oversight

Elements of NUCAP will be included in the 2014 Oversight Audit. There is a meeting scheduled with Task Group Auditors on Monday during the February Nadcap Meeting.

E. Globalization & Strategy

Current activities on the Risk Assessment to be reported at the upcoming Nadcap Meeting. The Subscriber Definition sub-team has further refined the Subscriber definition and activities are continuing with the team. Metallic Materials Manufacturing group have been meeting monthly since the October Nadcap Meeting, and recently elected a Chairperson. Their first face-to-face Nadcap Meeting will take place in February.

5.0 FEBRUARY NADCAP MEETING

A. Agenda at a Glance

o There will be a face-to-face meeting with EASA on Monday the 24th. o There will not be a Supplier Discovery Session at this meeting. o Note that the overall schedule has reverted back to our non-Pittsburgh schedule, with

NMC Steering on Wednesday.o It was noted that all NMC Members are encouraged to attend the Supplier Support

Committee (SSC) meeting on Tuesday evening.

B. Other Agendas (P&O, Steering, NMC)

The Planning & Operations (P&O), Steering and NMC At Large meeting agendas were reviewed. The agendas are posted on the PRI Website at www.p-r-i.org, under the “Nadcap Meetings” section.

6.0 OTHER ISSUES/NEW BUSINESS

A. NMC Voting Member Maintenance

Based on discussion during the October 2013 Nadcap Steering Meeting, Kevin Ward proposed that NMC Voting Members not be held to the same voting requirements as the Task Groups, which is currently required by NOP-001 and AS7003.

Motion made and seconded to discontinue reviewing maintenance requirements for NMC Voting Members. Motion passed unanimously.
