Shakespeare 400th...Visit the Painted Room in Cornmarket & learn about Shakespeare’s connections with Oxford (Saturday & Sunday 10am to 4pm).

Join OPT at the Botanic Gardens between 9am & 9.45am on Saturday to listen to the bells ring out from Magdalen Tower to mark the start of the weekend.

There will be lots of musical happenings at Magdalen College across the weekend and on Saturday, tours demonstrations & much more at Christ Church, including a special Choral Evensong at 5pm.

Do take a look at the Chapels at Merton & University Colleges open on both days & the recently restored Chapel at Trinity College (Sunday only).

See the Waterloo Rifle Band Concert at Oxford Town Hall from 11am on Saturday & the City of Oxford Silver Band on Sunday from 12noon at Oxford Castle Unlocked.

At the Bate Collection, a special exhibition featuring the development of the Hill violin bows (Saturday only).

Round the weekend o� with a concert at The Sheldonian Theatre on Sunday at 4pm, performed by the Pavlova Wind Quintet (also performing at Merton College Chapel on Saturday at 4pm).
