OAFB supports the teams who are feeding Ontarians living with chronic hunger

• Directors / Managers from 120 food banks across province

• Representing over 1,100 hunger relief programs in every county/region in Ontario

• Helping 395,000 people in need each month

• 37.5% are children and youth under 18

• 784,460 meals served per month province-wide

• 158,172 Ontario households served; 10% utilized a food bank for the first time in March 2011

Sadly the numbers are not decreasing so our food banks need to continue to learn & grow to provide essential

community services

The goal of this conference is to give food bank staff & volunteers new tools to improve the efficiency & effectiveness of their work. Through learning, networking, recognition, inspiration & collaboration we can

find new solutions and have a greater impact across the province.
