Online Securities Account Activation Guide

I. Activate Online Securities Account

An Account Opening Notification letter will be sent to your registered email when the account is ready. You can download the BOCI App by scanning the below QR code or by searching “BOCI” on the App Store or Google Play Store.

(1) Open the BOCI App. Follow the below instruction to enter the “Online Account Activation” page to verify your account. Method 1: If this is the first time you are using the BOCI App, please click “Unable to Login” and select “Initial Account Activation”.

Method 2: If you have previously logged into the BOCI App via your Social Account, please click “Trade” at the bottom of the page and select “Initial Account Activation”.

(2) Please complete the following 5 steps to activate the online securities account in order to obtain the “Initial Login Password”.

Account Number

: The 11 digits Securities Account Number (include hyphen) can be found in the Account Opening Notification letter.

Login Id :

The 6-15 digits alphanumeric Online Securities Account Login ID can be found in the Account Opening Notification letter.

Identity Card Number

: For individual client please enter your ID card number or passport number submitted during account application.

For corporate client please enter the Certificate of Incorporation number.

Registered Phone Number

: Please enter the last 4 digits of either your registered mobile phone number, residential phone number or office phone number.

Verification Code : Please enter the numbers or letters as shown.

After filling in the correct information and click “Submit”, a temporary “Initial Login Password” will be sent to your registered mobile number via SMS. Corporate client will receive the initial login password via email.

II. Security Token Binding

Please follow the below steps: (1) Enter the below information on the “Add Device” page and click “Next”:

Account No. Your 11 digits Account Number i.e. 1234567-1000

ID Card No. Your registered ID Card Number i.e. A123456(7), please enter A1234567

Registered Phone No. The last 4 digits of your registered mobile phone number

i.e. 12345678, please enter 5678

(2) Input a Device Name and click “Obtain Password” to get an activation password via SMS. (3) Enter the Activation code and click “Submit”. (4) A message will prompt if device registration is successful. Click “Confirm” to enter the App.

III. Change Password (1) Upon successful binding of Security Token, Use the Initial Login Password to unlock

trading functions. The system will ask you to change your Password, please enter the initial password and setup a new password.

Login Id : Auto-filled with Online Securities Account Login ID, no input is needed.

Enter Initial Password : Enter Initial Login Password again. Enter New Password : Enter new password in numbers and letters in length of 8-18

digits. Letters are case-sensitive. New Password Again : Enter new password again (the two passwords entered must

be the same)

IV. Use BOCI App as Security Token to Login to Other BOCI Trading System

(1) Login to BOCI App with your “Trading Account”

(2) Login to the other BOCI trading platform you wish to use, such as the Securities Trading Web.

(3) Select the corresponding Device on the Login page.

(4) Return to the Homepage of the BOCI App and click “2FA Device”.

(5) On the “2FA Device” page, click “Authorize”.

(6) Click “Confirm” on the pop-up box to login.
