Reasons for set-up this projectThe e-World hasn’t had online Chinese chess

system for the visually impaired people so far.

How the product benefits to the usersWe aim to let them, whom are interested in

Chinese chess, to be connected with the internet world instead of to be isolated.

Playing our product not only help them to be familiar with the computer skills, but also build up a platform for them to have interaction with the public.

Comments from userWe have invited Mr. Chong Chan Yau, MBE,

President of Hong Kong Blind Union, to test the product.

Mr. Chong believes the product is easy to be used and one of the public entertainments for the visually impaired group.

In order to be convenient for the clients, Mr. Chong also suggested us to use speech software, such as JAWS, NVDA.

We have done all he suggested.
