Apply for a Transaction PIN.
Apply online to de-register a vehicle with your Transaction PIN. The online application
is only valid for 5 calendar days. If the vehicle is not de-registered within that time, a
fresh application is required.
Complete de-registration application form.
To send vehicle to authorized scrapyard or EPZ with:
Completed and signed application form D01
Original NRIC (Singaporean, Singapore PR and Malaysian) or Passport
(foreigner other than a Malaysian) of the submitter/third partyTo de-register the vehicle at LTA counter with:
Completed and signed application form D01
Cargo Clearance Permit; and
Duly endorsed1
non-negotiable copy of Bill of Lading that is issued by a shippingline, shipping company or freight agent containing the following details:
- Exporter/ Importer details;
- Vessel / Voyage number;
- Port of discharge / destination;
- Container / seal number (for vehicles stored in container);- Engine and chassis numbers of vehicle being exported; and
- Date vehicle is shipped on board the vessel.
1The Bill of Lading shall be signed by its originating shipping line, shipping
company, freight agent or master. The Bill of Lading can also be signed by a
named agent for or on behalf of the shipping line, shipping company or master.
Outstanding road tax arrears, if any.
Completed application form to retain a vehicle registration number (if applicable), NRIC
or Passport (foreigner other than Malaysian) of the owner and retention fee of $100.
