Development Corporation (KSIDC), aims to build a life science
innovation ecosystem in “the land of Ayurveda”. Situated at
Thonnakkal along Thiruvananthapuram - Kollam Highway and spread
over a sprawling 75 acre campus, this unique and one of its kind park is
dedicated to upstream areas of translational research in Agriculture,
Medical Technology and Healthcare, Animal Sciences as well as Food
and Wellness, in complete synergy. It is strategically located at the
gateway of the IT corridor in the vicinity of major R&D institutions
such as Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and
Technology (SCTIMST), Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology
(RGCBT) and Jawaharlal Nehru Tropical Botanic Garden and Research
Institute (TBGRI) amongst others.
The Bio 360 Life Sciences Park provides ultra modern facilities such as
a cGMP compliant bioprocess facilities for pilot scale production and a
pre-clinical toxicology laboratory for functional and strategic
requirements to take a concept from ideation to product
commercialisation. The Bio 360 Life Sciences Park offers a nurturing
environment for start-up entrepreneurs to large companies catering
to every need from research to commercialisation and capacity
building within one ecosystem.
