Plane surfaces, i.e. large crane foundations up to 24 meters in diameter, are mechanically machined on site with mobile

turning devices. All tolerances given by engine and other equipment manufacturers are fully restored during the on site

machining process.

FLANGE FACING

MME refurbishes severely damaged crankshaft journals with outside diameters from 170mm up to 1020mm with quick

turn-around times. This automatically means a tremendous saving in costs regarding the operational downtime of the engine

since dismantling and heavy transport of the damaged equipment is not necessary. Together with the class-approved annealing

process, the success rate of crankshaft journal repair is 100%.

Using our custom-made, transportable line boring tools, and the necessary state-of-the-art laser alignment devices,

MME can restore multiple kinds of damaged bores that need to be in line by 0.01mm on 2- and 4-stroke diesel

engines, gas/water turbine housings, stern tube, rudder stock, AZI pod and crane jibs.

MME performs a wide variety of form and size heat treatments. In situ heat treatments can be implemented in stationary

furnaces or directly at the customer’s location using our mobile annealing equipment.
