VIRTUAL FALL SCAVENGER HUNT

On Phase 1 of the Heritage Greenways

Friday, October 16-Sunday October 18

Our Heritage Greenway Trail will become a little spooky this weekend. This scavenger hunt can

be completed at one’s leisure and anyone is welcome to participate. Make sure children are

supervised and that everyone in your party is following social distancing and mask guidelines.

Simply, collect or check off all the Fall and Halloween themed items that you see while you walk

the trail. Attached is a check off sheet that can be turned into the Newton Recreation Center for

some treats.

Interested participants should park at the Catawba County Animal Shelter and turn right upon

entering the trail to start their adventure! Scavenger hunt items will be scattered along the trail

going all the way to West 7th Street. All check off sheets need to be turned in by Monday,

October 19th by 8:00 pm and participants must show the collected items from the scavenger hunt

to be rewarded with treats.
