The Organic Desktop

Our patented desktop designs provide an essential new paradigm for modern office furniture - engaging video communication, fostering collaborative ergonomics and pioneering a revolutionary new method for office space layout.

If you look deeply into the form of our curvilinear desktop, you will see that the basic shape is not a rectangle, but rather a triangle. The benefits of a triangle are not simply intuitive, they are mathematically sound. The form is so versatile and efficient that it changes the dynamics of space.

The concept is as old as Pythagoras, based on simple geometric principles. The longest line within a rectangle is a diagonal line - as much as 30% longer. By employing a curved diagonal line within the footprint of a rectangle, one creates added edge length. This added length allows more collaborators to be seated more comfortably, centered on a video screen or computer monitor.

The same principle applies to our open system furniture (unCube) that frees users from facing a wall (cubicle), opening the outer office up to a team-oriented atmosphere – allowing for more people, with more desk space and more privacy than the current benching systems which seem to be all the rage.

The nested combinations of our unCube save space by removing the deep wasted corners of traditional systems furniture. The interlocking shapes provide beehive-like clusters that naturally group users. Users sit facing forward to greet oncoming visitors and guest chairs accommodate social conversation or video-based collaboration.

A masterpiece of modern industrial design as a pure art form, eDeskTop will influence office design and layouts for decades to come.

The 21st Century Diagonal Desktop

Start at the top. Our cockpit design puts everything you need within seated reach while positioning a video screen up front for ease of sharing your digital world.

You can use our tops with your existing cabinetry. You can use our tops with other manufacturers cabinetry. Or you can conveniently use our specially designed "elements" to customize your personal look. Mix and match elements to achieve the award-winning results that eDesktop has already achieved.

the unCube

eDeskTop is the next generation of office furniture, ergonomically designed to engage seated collaboration, centered around technology. We connect more people,

more collaboratively and in less space.

32 SQUARE FEET FORWARD FACING SHAPED FOR SOCIAL INTERACTION

eDeskTop's patent was issued to protect the diagonal direction that wraps our surfaces

around the user. This has the effect of creating a direct path across the

face of a computer screen.

In all cases the shapes of our desktops and system surfaces bring more people together at a more comfortable social distance - remarkably even in 32 square feet!

ERGONOMICALLY SIZED

Most systems furniture is available in an unending array of shapes and sizes. The idea

is to tailor furniture to the space available.

eDeskTop is designed to fit the task at hand - literally.

We believe that space beyond the seated reach of the

user is wasted space - better used as circulation space for more comfortable and efficient traffic patterns.

of Open Office Collaborative Clusters

No matter how you flip a rectangle the result is rigid rows of monolithic space.

Not so with the unCube desktop. Adding just one additional twist - a quarter rotation - spins the unCube into organic clusters, allowing planners to manipulate space like never before.

Maneuvering around columns, adjusting to narrow spaces, and turning corners - space planning just became a whole lot easier.

Unleash your creativity through the unlimited potential of the unCube. Something to wrap your mind around!

Want to see something truly amazing?

Amazingly, the area of a parallelogram, compared with a square of equal length sides, is 14% smaller in square footage.

Yet, the basic building block of our "Lego-Like" systems puts everything in reach by adding 50% more edge surface area.

The "radius of reach" of the 32 SF unCube offers 50% more efficient desk surface, to place people and work tools just a handshake away.

Featuring forward facing ergonomics, each station accepts at least one seated guest/collaborator.

Which is Larger?

Represented in these schematic drawings are the footprints of three concepts in open office workstations - the unCube, the Bench, and the Cubicle. Only the unCube allows seated collaboration. Yet the unCube allows more "video centered" collaboration and more desktop storage, in less space.

The unCube saves space when arranged in beehive like clusters. Gone are the monolithic rows of impersonal squares or rectangles. Three ”Lego-like”, curvilinear shapes create limitless simple -to- complex connected combinations.

The unCube removes the clutter of desktop storage and people hovering over your shoulders. Considering the alternative to the Bench or the Cube, you wonder whypeople stand for it!
