CR2 was born when internet connectivity started becoming embedded into each and every aspect of our lives. We began our journey focusing on internet and mobile banking with the objective to enable banks to interact with clients on an individual level and provide unique tailored products and services on their self-service channels.

Naturally, we soon realised that in order to service our customers exceptionally, we had to be truly omnichannel. As such, we acquired Interlink, a provider of ATM solutions which had over 15 years’ experience servicing leading banks across the globe. With ATM now added to our product mix, all channels ATM-Internet-Mobile were linked together cohesively. For us, the challenge was to empower the self-service channels in recognising not only a card or a password, but a unique person with unique requirements. Constantly driven to create a unified self-service platform, CR2 became a pioneer in providing this to retail banks. Even today, CR2 is one of the very few providers in the market offering a modern truly omnichannel approach.

Bank of Sharjah

We have worked with Bank of Sharjah in adopting a true omnichannel strategy in order to increase the availability of products and services through the electronic channels and develop successful relationships with their clients. With the help of our ominchannel banking suite, Bank of Sharjah have been able to meet their goal of taking control of their entire self-service banking network. They can now design and deploy new products and services internally to all channels, deliver enhanced customer experiences and maintain their core values of performance, quality and initiative, all from our vendor agnostic solution which was seamlessly integrated with their existing hardware and core banking system.

Diamond Bank

When we first spoke to Diamond Bank, they were facing the challenges they were facing surrounding the complexity of managing different software solutions for each channel and migrating transaction from the branch to lower cost channels such as the ATM. By working with Diamond Bank to deliver our omnichannel solution, we were able to not only meet their demands of increased efficiency and being able to design and deploy product and services in-house, but also to facilitate their rapid expansion and increase their footprint by 10% and customer by 33%.

Zemen Bank

CR2 work with Zemen Bank not only on their ATM and internet channels, but also with our pre-paid cards solution. Zemen Bank were looking for a way to disperse salaries quickly in a country where people commonly bank with different banks, or sometimes don’t hold a bank account at all as well as finding a way to allow their high net worth clients give family members quick access to cash when needed. Through our solution, Zemen Bank became the first bank in Ethiopia to roll out a pre-paid cards solution and were able to expand their customer base by auto-acquiring people as they withdrew salaries from the bank’s ATM network. We have helped the bank to improve banking convenience and customer satisfaction in addition to increasing revenue through the associated fees and administration charges.

Pre-Paid Cards

Pre-Paid Cards allows you to offer prepaid card services to corporate, retail and government customers. They are a convenient and secure alternative to cash or credit cards for corporate as well as retail consumers. It gives corporate customers the flexibility to disburse salary or provide staff with travel cards, as well as offering online or family cards to individual consumers, all while keeping the accounts safe.

Card on/off

Card On/Off provides the capability for clients to switch on or off their card at their convenience to ensure peace of mind. The card can be instantly switched on or off directly from the mobile or internet channels.

Money Voucher

Money Voucher enables you to securely provide electronic cheque services to customers as well as non-customers straight from the ATM, online and mobile banking channels. These e-cheques can then be used to remit funds to anyone across the domestic market. The recipient can simply redeem cash at the ATM channel or alternatively through a network of merchants or agents.

Fast Loans

Fast Loans provide your bank with the capability to pre-approve a group of customers for a loan, define the terms, fees and conditions, and push this offer across all channels. In certain markets, CR2 banks have increased their loan revenue by 30% at the ATM using BankWorld, without reducing their loan sales in branch.
