teacher

All his brothers and sisters had passed
away by the time he was born.

Bradley after making enough money from
the railroad attended the University of
Missouri. At the University Bradley had a major
change of interest into military and so a
teacher requested he take exams to get
into west point.

Bradley was one of the few who liked the
idea of discipline and military life in a
education setting. He graduated in June 12th 1915 he was
44th in his class of 119.

Was Bradley's first every unit he was
attached to.
They were stationed at Yuma Arizona. Later they moved into Mexico during the
Mexican civil war.

After his time with the 14th infantry Bradley
had been promoted to a Lieutenant
Colonel he had been reassigned to teach
mathematics at west point.

At this time Bradley was a Brigadier
General.
During this time Bradley gave his greatest

During the Mobilization for the war in
Europe Bradley was given command of
the 82nd infantry division.

The 82nd infantry when Bradley took
control was only a few veterans from WW1
and mostly draftees.
After 2 months with Bradley the 82nd was
rated the best trained and lead infantry
divisions in the U.S army.
