 One  night  Hen  was  sleeping  in  the  barn.  At  4:30  in  the  morning  Hen  woke  up  from  the  family  dog’s  barking.  So  in  the  Hen  went  to  the  dog  door  on  the  house  and  said,    “  Hello,  is  dog  there?”    “  Yes”,  said  Buster  the  Dog  in  a            deep  voice.    “  Well,  waking  me  up  in  the          morning  because  of  your          barking  is  preposterous!”  yelled  

Hen.  

“  There  are  these  two  mice  that          woke  me  up  and  I  barked  at          them  to  go  away,”  barked  dog.      “If  I  ever  hear  your  barking  

again,  I  will  have  your  nose,”  clucked  Hen.    So  the  next  night  Hen  and  

Dog  met  up  in  front  of  the  house  and  decided  if  the  mice  came  out  again  that  dog  would  eat  them.  Even  though  dog  didn’t  want  to  eat  the  mice.  It  would  be  the  best  for  himself  and  Hen  and  even  his  owners.  So  dog  stayed  up  and  waited  ,  waited  and  waited.  Eventually  the  mice  came  and  dog  ate  them  and  

All  there  problems  were  solved.
