cooled. The cameras external temperature mayalso increase during use, however this is normal anddoes not indicate malfunction.
MonitorDifficult to see.
Condensation may have occurred. Turn off thepower, and wait for the camera body to becomeacclimated to the surrounding temperature and dry
out before taking pictures.Vertical lines appear on the screen.
Vertical lines may be visible in the monitor whenthe camera is pointed at very bright subjects under
clear skies or similar conditions, but they will notappear in the final image unless [d] is selected.
The light is caught in the picture. Shooting with flash in dark situations results in animage with many flash reflections on dust in the air.
Date and time functionDate and time settings return to the default setting.
If the batteries are removed and left out of thecamera for about 3 days*1, the date and time settings
return to the default setting, and must be reset.*1 The time until the date and time settings return to
the default setting varies depending on how long
the batteries have been loaded.
Date, time, time zone, and language (p. 14)
MiscellaneousThe camera makes a noise when taking pictures.
The camera may activate the lens and make anoise even if no operation is performed. Thisis because the camera automatically performsactions of auto focus as far as it is ready to shoot.
