BRIEF OVERVIEW OF THE PROJECT

Mixed-use sports and tourist complex “Olympic Flame” will be located in

Krasnaya Polyana resort, Sochi National Park near Sochi city, Russia. The building of the Olympic Flame hotel will become a symbol for the

Winter Olympics, 2014. The Alpine skiing complex itself will be used for competitions during The Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Krasnaya Polyana is located in mountains, 42 km. away from the Black

sea coast, Adler area, Sochi city. The length of the resort area is about 11km. According to a legend, the name “Krasnaya Polyana” (Beautiful Glade), was given to this area by the first Greek inhabitants when they first came and saw a beautiful glade on their way down the mountains.

Krasnaya Polyana is the place of Winter Olympics in 2014. Most of the

competitions during the Olympic Games will take place here. Today the whole territory from Adler to Krasnaya Polyana is occupied with construction and service works of the Olympic objects which will be completed in 2013. Along with that there goes construction of a highway and a rail road from Black Sea coast leading to the resort.

The hotel and the Alpine skiing complex will be put into operation

at the first stage in December 2013, upon the completion of the 1st stage of construction works.

In May 2015, upon completion of the 2nd stage of construction

the following parts of the project will be put into operation:

• The second stage of the Alpine skiing complex; • Amusement park; • Trade center; • Water park; • SPA center; • Night club; • Bowling and pool; • Cineplex; • Fitness center; • Diagnostics and prevention center. •

Land category: lands of specially protected areas. Area of the plot: 10,47 Hectares Total sum of the project is € 450 000 000 euro.

STAGES OF CONSTRUCTION

Construction of the Complex is supposed to be carried out in two

stages. The first stage – starting from March, 2012 till October, 2013.

Construction of a hotel and an Alpine skiing complex, launch of the objects into into operation. The construction of the stylobate part of the complex with final trimming of facades and improvement of adjoining area.

The second stage – starting from April, 2014 till May, 2015. Internal

construction works and interior works in the Water park, Amusement park, SPA center, Fitness-center, Cineplex with a concert hall, Shopping center and so forth.

Height of the hotel – 166,7 m. Height of the hotel with a spire – 254 m. The development area for construction is located on a mountain

slope.
