Oliveri sinks are manufactured from genuine 18/10, 304 grade stainless steel, for optimum hygiene and durability. However, no stainless steel sink was ever designed to do battle against hardened metal utensils or food processor blades, etc, and will undoubtedly incur scratching. Over time, scratches in steel will appear less obvious as the sink develops its own unique finish.

Installation type Topmount sinks are installed above the bench top, while undermount sinks are installed below the bench top and flushmount sinks are installed so that the sink and bench top sit flush.

Cabinet size Check your cabinet is wide enough (left to right) and deep enough (front to back) to accommodate the bowls of your sink.

Configuration Select how many bowls you want, how many drainers if any at all and if you require the bowls on the left or right hand side.

Pressed vs Fabricated Pressed bowls are made from drawing the shape of the bowl out of a sheet of stainless steel while fabricated bowls are made by folding their shape and welding its sides.

Bowl size Decide if you need bowls large enough and deep enough to fully immerse baking trays, or else you may just need enough to wash the dishes too fragile for a dishwasher.

Towel dry your sink with a soft, absorbent cloth after each use. This prevents mineral deposits in the water from building up on the surface of the sink. Visit oliveri.com.au for more tips on caring for your sink.

CLEANING TIP

Finish Sinks come in polished, brushed and coloured stainless steel as well as granite finishes. It is important to note, stainless steel will inevitably incur scratching as it naturally wears. Scratches in the sink will appear less obvious over time as the sink develops its own unique finish.

Integrated seal Quality rolled edge sinks are fitted with a continuous foam gasket seal which ensures a water tight installation.

Softone® & Soundproofing Soundproofing is applied to the underside of some larger sinks to reduce noise and retain water temperature. Wood backing boards under the drainer can also assist in reducing noise.

Tap hole options Either the manufacturer or the installer will punch/drill additional holes for accessories such as filter taps or soap dispensers.

Accessories Check what custom made accessories are available for your sink to make the most of your sink space.

Basket wastes Ensure your sink is supplied with Watermark Standards certified basket wastes and ensure they are compatible with garbage disposal units if required.

Country of origin As well as supporting Australian manufacturing, Australian made products can offer flexibilities which importers cannot, such as faster delivery times.

1947 Tasman Sinkware began life as a general and domestic metal fabricator in Adelaide, Australia. The founders pioneered deep drawing technology in Australia, allowing the creation of seamless, deep-drawn stainless steel Oliveri sinks.

1994 A multi-million dollar upgrade saw the production facility move to its current 6,000sqm premises and the installation of the latest high-tech machinery sourced from around the world.

2003 Tasman Sinkware acquired by Fletcher Building, a publicly listed company on the Australian and New Zealand stock exchange.

2014 Tasman Sinkware extends its offering, introducing the new product range ‘Oliveri Cooking Mate Series’, a range of cooking accessories based on the popularity of Oliveri’s sink accessories.

2015 Tasman Sinkware extends its innovative Oliveri collection to included a highly anticipated range of Italian made granite sinks and matching tapware.

2016 Effective January 2016, Oliveri began trading in it’s own right in New Zealand, out of Christchurch.
