GuardianvsGuardianDuelsGuardiansandsupportingcharactersareabletochallengeeachotherto1v1duels. Duels are played out through a series of turn-based offensive anddefensiveskills.Thebasicmoves(slash,thrust,strike)provideequalexpectedvalueresultsagainst(parry,dodge,block).Inotherwords,thefirstduelmetawill consistof33.33%chanceofdodginganattackwhendefending;whilstattackersmaintaina66.66%chanceofdealingdamage.Seethetablebelowforabasicbreakdown.Guardians,astheyareuniquecharacters,haveaspecialoffenseskill(Charge),anddefensiveskill(Dash)thathaveanexpectedvalueadvantageovernon-guardian characters. Some Guardians through their adventures may alsolearn a special move (Flash) that have a significant advantage over basicmoves.Guardiansmayalsoequiprare,longrangeoffensiveweaponswhichalsogivethemanextraoffensive(Ranged)move.Thismovemaintainsthestrongest offensive capability and is also especially powerful against thespecialGuardianmove(Flash).

It isworthkeeping inmindthatthere ismorethantotheChainGuardians’battlemetathaninitiallymeetstheeye.Forexample:astrikemovemaybemore effective on an opponent that has steel armour equipped, whilstslashing it may prove quite useless. Meanwhile, a non-playable character(NPC)withnoarmourwillhavelittleinthewayofadditionalprotection.Itisalsonoteworthy that theGuardianorcharacter’sattributeswillplayakeyrole in determining the effectiveness and outcome of a battle. Thoroughtesting andbalancingwill continue andoccur throughout all stages of thegame’sdevelopment.

All Guardians have an overall Power Ratingwhich constitutes amaximumscoreof100.Thisratingiscomposedofthe12attributesasoutlinedbelow:

Rarity:someoriginalGuardianshaveagreatervaluethantheirrivalsaspartofthenaturaluniversalorder.ThefirstfourGuardianswillalwaysbeamongsttherarest.NaturalAbility:rarerblockchainGuardiansgenerallyhaveagreaternaturalability than other Guardians, however depending on the extent of theirtestingduringescaping theiroppressors, somehavehad toendureharderteststhanothers.Armour&WeaponScore:PlayerscanobtainstrongeritemsthroughPvEandPvPcombatwhichwillenhanceyourGuardian’sarmourandweaponscore.Playerscanalsoobtainarmourandweaponsthroughtheofficialmarketplaceor private deals with other players on eligible platforms. Longer term,integrationofotherNFTequipmentitemsisenvisagedonourroad-map.Magical ItemScore: In thedeepdepthsof thecryptoverseelusivemagicalitemsexist.TheseitemscanbeobtainedthroughPvEandPvPcombatwhichimprovesyourGuardian’sMagicalItemScore.Guardian Skills: Depending on your Guardian’s journey they will haveobtainedparticularskillswhichwererequired to free themselves fromtheshacklesofcontrol.ThesetraitsvaryfromGuardiantoGuardian,withsometraits being strong against certain Guardian traits, however weak againstothers.Fame Score: Your Fame Score is calculated based on your PvE and PvPsuccesses. Guardians with a high Fame Score (PvP ranking system) willreceivebonusCharisma(Char)points;withtheabilitytocarrymoreApostlesintheirarmies.

Active Score: Your Guardian’s Active Score is calculated based on howfrequently the Guardians have been used undefeated. This will createbonuses for the Guardian’s unit. An undefeated Guardian, over time, canbecomeverypowerfulduetoaGuardian’sforcebecomingwelltrainedandseasoned.Age: Wisdom is a hidden attribute. Guardians gain additional passiveresistancesovertimesuchasagainstcertainelemental types.ThisensuressomeoftheoldestGuardiansbecomethestrongestamongsttheirpeers.Experience:EngaginginPvEcombatorPvPbattleswillincreaseyouroverallExperience Score - thosewho aremore experienced in the art ofwar arestronger.AllGuardians,LieutenantsandApostlesstartwithabaselevelofone(1);witheachbattle yourGuardians or characterswill become stronger.Winning abattlewillreapagreateramountofexperiencepoints.ExperienceGrowth<Thissectionissubjecttochange,withorwithoutnotice,forgamebalancing>A Guardian’s skills, including: Strength (Str), Intellect (Int), Stamina (Sta),Charisma(Char),andAgility(Agil)willgovernaGuardian’spowerindifferentways;thebasenumbersforduellingandbattlingwillbeaffectedasaresult.Forexample:Strengthwillprovideanoffensivebuff;whilstAgilitywillprovideadefensivebuff.Meanwhile,IntellectandStaminadeterminesaGuardian’sMagicalabilityandHitPointgrowthperlevel.Finally,aGuardian’sCharismawillincreasetheirCommand(thenumberofunitsaGuardiancancommandoverinbattle-thisisaroadmapitem).Seebelowforatypicalindication:

A Guardian’s skill statistics also impacts the type of Weapon, Armor andMagicalItemthataGuardiancanwield.Higherskillscoresallowforahigherlevelitemtobeequipped.WhilstaGuardiancanequipthemostpowerfulitemintheworld,itmaystillbecappedbyit’smaxWeaponandArmorscore.

ElementalsTherearesevenElementalTypes:Psychic,Light,Sound,Air,FireWater,Earthwithin the ChainGuardians’ worlds. These elemental types generateadvantages thatareappliedasa finalbuff/resistanceafterallotherbattlemeta statistics are calculated. A Guardian's Elemental Type or types aredetermined based on their: rarity, LORE and developments leading up to

game play or gained over time. Most Legendary Guardians have 2-3elementaltypesfromtheoutset,whilstonlyaveryselectedfewwillmaintainbeyondthreeElementalTypes.BitseeNakaistheoriginalChainGuardianandisdubbed‘TheChosenOne’;;thus she is granted ‘enlightenment’ (Psychic Elemental Type). Bitseemaintains strong compassion to her people (Air Elemental type), and hasovercomemuch inherearly struggle for survival (EarthlyElemental Type).Havingjourneyedthroughtheemotionalchallengeoflosingherfamily,shehasalsodevelopedsignificantemotionalstrength(FireElementalType).CaptainDevexAttazar ‘roamstheopenseas’andhasgrownuniversal love(AirElementalType)ofallthingsinallworlds.Havingcharteredtheendlessopen seas that connects theworlds he has also developed Independence(WaterElementalType).A more thorough revelation of Guardian and character attributes will berevealedthroughstoryLOREandfutureChronicles.

The final attack damage buff is applied when there is a type advantage(indicatedbelow);butthebuff isnullifiedwhenthedefendingGuardianorcharacterhasthesameElementalType.Forinstance,shouldaGuardiangainallElementalTypes,theywouldbeimmunetoanytypeofattackbuffs.

WorldSpheresWorldSpheresareERC-721tokenswhichrepresentanextremelyuniqueandlow supply in game item.World Spheres are Limited to 9 per world andattributespecialbenefitstotheirholders.Legendhasitthatifasingleplayercanobtainall9WorldSpheres,theywillhavetheabilitytomakeawishcometrue.InitialWorldSpheresareallocatedinfollowingways:Fouraredistributedtothecommunitythrough:

A powerful character development system that governs the loyalty ofGuardianstoitsplayers,thisvalueresetsiftheGuardianservesanewmaster(suchas intheeventoftradeorsalesoverthemarketplace). Playerswhoown a ChainGuardian for a long period of timewill have various benefits,versus someone who have just acquire one. This feature rewards andincentivises holding or ‘hodling’ (long term keeping) and adds sentimentalvaluetoanitem;inadditiontocollectivevalue.

TheimpactoftheloyaltyfactorisuniquetoeachGuardian: itcanresult inlowerperformanceorfailuretoexecuteaplayer’scommands.It’sanartforaplayertogradually learnhowto increaseaGuardian’s loyalty,belowaresomeguidelines:

- Naturally over time, a Guardian’s loyalty to its owner willincrease.

GuardianSimulationModeWeconsiderourroleandcapacity inonboardinguserstoEthereumdAppspivotalasnewusersenterthespace;therefore,wewillbecreatingaplayableGuardiansimulationgamemodeenablinguserstoplayseveralofthegamemodes.Thismodewould be a simulation andwould therefore not provide actualrewardstowardsthegamenorwouldtheplayersowntheERC-721tokens.Theoutcomesofthisgamemodewouldnotaffectactualgameplayranksoreconomy;butisdesignedtoprovideuserswithafeelfortheinitialgame.CryptoBoost:WithUsers’ExistingCryptoHoldingCrypto Boost is one of the exciting features we are bringing toChainGuardians.
