Bratislavský hrad Pôvodne sídlo panovníkov, dnes symbol Bratislavy a sídlo Historického múzea. Z jeho 47 metrov vy-sokej korunnej veže, kde sa kedysi uchovávali krá-ľovské korunovačné klenoty, sa ponúka nádherný výhľad nielen na mesto, ale aj na susediace krajiny.

Dóm sv. Martina

Gotický trojloďový kostol z 15. storočia, bývalý korunovačný chrám. Pripomienkou týchto sláv-nych čias je pozlátená replika korunovačnej koruny osadená na vrchole katedrálnej veže vo výške 85 metrov a vážiaca 150 kg.

Stará radnicaPôvodne sídlo mestskej samosprávy, od roku 1868 sídlo Múzea mesta Bratislavy, najstaršieho múzea na Slovensku. Po zdolaní úzkych schodov vedúcich na jej 45 metrov vysokú vežu sa Vám naskytne nádherný panoramatický výhľad na Staré mesto.

Primaciálny palác Klasicistický palác z 18. storočia, kde po víťazstve Napoleona v bitke pri Slavkove podpísali zástupco-via francúzskeho a rakúskeho cisára dohodu, ktorá vstúpila do dejín ako Prešporský mier. V súčasnosti je galerijnou expozíciou uchovávajúcou unikátnu zbierku 6 anglických tapisérií zo 17. storočia a síd-lom primátora hl. mesta SR.

Michalská brána Jediná zachovaná brána mestského opevnenia zo 14. storočia. Z hornej terasy jej 51 metrov vysokej veže si možno vychutnať očarujúci výhľad na Bra-tislavský hrad a Staré mesto. Vo veži sa nachádza Múzeum zbraní.

Grassalkovichov palácRokokový letný palác z 18. storočia bol v minulostí známy bohatým spoločenským životom, koncertoval tu aj slávny Joseph Haydn. Od roku 1996 je sídlom prezidenta Slovenskej republiky.

Modrý kostol Secesný Kostol sv. Alžbety zo začiatku 20. storočia je charakteristický svojou modrou farbou. Vyznačuje sa detailným prepracovaním fasády s častým použitím mozaiky. Je obľúbeným miestom sobášov a krstov.

SlavínNajväčší vojnový pamätník v strednej Európe je vďaka svojej výške 52 metrov jednou z dominánt mesta. Je tu pochovaných 6845 vojakov Sovietskej armády padlých pri oslobodzovaní Bratislavy počas druhej svetovej vojny.

SynagógaSynagóga bola postavená v kubistickom slohu v rokoch 1923 – 1926 podľa plánov architekta Artura Szalatnaia-Slatinského. Stála expozícia Židov-ského komunitného múzea inštalovaná na prvom poschodí budovy je pre verejnosť prístupná počas letnej sezóny.

Vyhliadka UFOJedinečná vyhliadka na pylónoch Mosta SNP vo výške 95 metrov s úžasným výhľadom na mesto a dohľadnos-ťou až 100 km. Ponúka najkrajší západ slnka v Bratislave v kombinácii s kulinárskym zážitkom.

Hrad DevínHradná ruina týčiaca sa na vysokom brale nad súto-kom riek Dunaja a Moravy patrí k najvýznamnejším historickým a archeologickým lokalitám v strednej Európe. Navyše ponúka očarujúcu prírodnú scenériu s neopakovateľným výhľadom.

Bratislavské sochyBratislavské sochy patria medzi najviac fotografo-vané atraktivity mesta. Stretnete tu elegána Schöne Náciho vo fraku s paličkou a cylindrom, zvedavého Čumila vykúkajúceho z kanála, Napoleónca ležérne sa opierajúceho o lavičku, či sochu rozprávkára Hansa Christiana Andersena.

Bratislavaer Burg

Ursprünglich Sitz der Herrscher, heute Symbol von Bratislava und Sitz des Historischen Museums. Von seinem 47 Meter hohen Kronenturm, wo früher einmal die königlichen Krönungsinsignien aufbewahrt wurden, bietet sich ein herrlicher Ausblick nicht nur auf die Stadt, aber auch auf die benachbarten Länder.

St. Martins Dom

Gotische Kirche, bestehend aus drei Schiffen, aus dem 15. Jahrhundert, ehemalige Krönungskirche.Erinnerung an diese ruhmreiche Zeit ist die ver-goldete Replik der Krönungskrone, welche an der Spitze des Turms des Doms angebracht ist, in Höhe von 85 Metern und mit einem Gewicht von 150 kg.

Altes Rathaus Ursprünglicher Sitz der städtischen Verwaltung, ab dem Jahr 1868 Sitz des Museums der Stadt Bratislava, des ältesten Museums der Slowakei. Nach der Bezwingung der engen Treppe, welche auf seinen 45 Meter hohen Turm führt, bietet sich eine herrliche Panoramaaussicht auf die Altstadt.

Primatialpalais

Klassizistisches Palais aus dem 18. Jahrhundert, in welchem nach dem Sieg von Napoleon in der Schlacht bei Austerlitz die Vertreter des französi-schen und österreichischen Kaisers ein Abkommen, den sog. Frieden von Pressburg unterschrieben haben. Gegenwärtig befinden sich hier eine Ga-lerieexposition, welche die einzigartige Sammlung von 6 englischen Tapisserien beherbergt und das Büro des Oberbürgermeisters.

Michaeler Tor

Das einzige noch erhaltene Tor der Stadtbefestigung aus dem 14. Jahrhundert. Von der oberen Terrasse ihres 51 Meter hohen Turms kann man die zauberhafte Aussicht auf die Bratislavaer Burg und die Altstadt genießen. Im Turm befindet sich das Waffenmuseum.

Palais Grassalkovich

Das Rokokosommerpalais aus dem 18. Jahrhundert war in der Vergangenheit durch sein reichhaltiges gesellschaftliches Leben bekannt. Hier gab auch der berühmte Joseph Haydn Konzerte. Ab dem Jahr 1996 ist es Sitz des Präsidenten der Slowa-kischen Republik.

Blaue Kirche

Die am Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts im Jugendstil erbaute Kirche St. Elisabeth ist durch ihre blaue Far-be charakteristisch. Sie zeichnet sich durch detailliert bearbeitete Fassade mit häufiger Mosaik-benutzung aus. Die Kirche ist ein beliebter Ort von Hochzeiten und Taufen.

Denkmal Slavín

Das größte Kriegsdenkmal in Mitteleuropa, welches dank seiner Lage und der Höhe von 52 Metern zu den Dominanten der Stadt gehört. Hier sind 6845 Soldaten der Sowjetischen Armee begraben, welche bei der Befreiung von Bratislava während des zweiten Weltkriegs gefallen sind.

Synagoge

Die Synagoge wurde im kubistischen Stil nach den Plänen vom Architekten Artur Szalatnai - Slatinský in den Jahren 1923 - 1926 gebaut. Die Daueraus-stellung des Jüdischen Gemeindemuseums ist im Obergeschoß installiert und für die Öffentlichkeit in der Sommersaison zugänglich.

UFO Aussichtsplattform

Einzigartige Aussichtsplattform auf den Pfeilern der Brücke Most SNP in einer Höhe von 95 Metern mit erstaunlicher Aussicht auf die Stadt und mit einer Fernsicht bis zu 100 km. Sie bietet den schönsten Sonnenuntergang in Bratislava in Kombination mit einem kulinarischen Erlebnis.

Burg Devín

Die Burgruine, welche auf einem hohen Felsen über dem Zusammenfluss der Flüsse Donau und March hervorragt, gehört zu den bedeutendsten historischen und archäologischen Lokalitäten in Mitteleuropa. Zusätzlich bietet sie eine zauberhafte Naturszenerie mit unwiederholbarer Aussicht.

Bratislavaer StatuenDie Statuen gehören zu den meist fotografierten At-traktionen der Stadt. Sie treffen hier den eleganten Schöne Náci angezogen im Frack mit Spazierstock und Zylinderhut, den neugierigen - aus dem Kanal hinausblickenden Čumil (Gaffer), einen sich leger auf der Lehne einer Bank abstützenden Soldaten der napoleonischen Armee oder auch Hans Christian Andersen - den berühmten Märchendichter.

Bratislava Castle

The former seat of the rulers, today the symbol of Bratislava and the seat of the Museum of Histo-ry. There is a wonderful view of the city and the neighbouring countries from its 47-metre-high crown tower in which royal coronation jewels used to be deposited.

St. Martin's Cathedral

A three-nave Gothic church from the 15th cen-tury and the former coronation church. A gilded replica of the coronation crown fixed on the top of the cathedral tower at a height of 85 metres and weighing 150 kg reminds of this glorious age.

Old Town Hall

The former seat of the city self-government is since 1868 the seat of the Bratislava City Museum, the oldest museum in Slovakia. After climbing up the narrow stairs leading to its 45-metre-high tower you will be rewarded with a beautiful panoramic view of the Old Town

Primate's Palace

A Classicist palace built in the 18th century in which the Peace of Pressburg was signed after Napole-on's victory at the Battle of Austerlitz between the representatives of the French and Austrian emperors. The Palace houses a gallery depositing a unique collection of six English tapestries from the 17th century and also serves as the seat of the Mayor of Bratislava.

Michael's Gate

The only preserved gate of the city fortification system dates back to the 14th century. The upper terrace of its 51-metre-high tower provides an enchanting view of the Bratislava Castle and the Old Town. The tower houses the Museum of Arms.

Grassalkovich Palace

A Rococo summer palace from the 18th century used to be known for its rich social life and a fa-mous composer Joseph Haydn also performed here. Since 1996 it serves as the seat of the President of the Slovak Republic.

Blue Church

The St. Elizabeth’s church built in the Art Nouveau style at the beginning of the 20th century is re-markable for the blue colour of its façade made with attention to detail with often use of mosaic.It is a popular place for weddings and baptisms.

Slavín Memorial

The largest war memorial in Central Europe is thanks to its height of 52 metres one of the dominating features of the city skyline. It is the burial ground of 6845 soldiers of the Soviet army who died during the liberation of Bratislava in World War II.

Synagogue

The synagogue was constructed in 1923 – 1926 in the Cubist style according to the plans of the architect Artur Szalatnai-Slatinský. The permanent exhibition of the Jewish Community Museum is installed upstairs and is open to the public during the summer season.

UFO Observation deck

A unique observation deck on the pylons of the SNP Bridge at a height of 95 metres with amazingviews of the city and visibility of up to 100 km. It offers the most beautiful sunset combined with a culinary experience.

Devín Castle

A castle ruin built on a high rock towering above the confluence of the Danube and Morava rivers is one of the most important historical and archaeological localities in Central Europe. Moreover, it offers enchanting natural scenery with unrepeatable views.

Bratislava statuesBratislava statues belong to the most photo graphed attractions in the city. Meet Schöne Naci - a dandy in tails with cane and top hat, Čumil (Rubberneck) curiously peeking out of the man hole, a Napoleonic soldier casually leaning over the bench or Hans Christian Andersen, a famous storyteller.

Cestujúci, ktorý sa nepre ukáže revízorovi platným cestovným lístkom, je povinný uhradiť pokutu vo výške tarify, ktorú určuje aktuálny prepravný poriadok.

TAXI It is less expensive to order a taxi over the phone than to hire a taxi from a taxi stand or stop a taxi on the street. The minimum charge for a short-distance trip is around € 5. We recommend checking the price with the driver prior to getting in the vehicle. Every taxi must have a price list displayed in a visible location, and a fare meter must be used.

Passengers are required to buy tickets in the ticket machi nes available at the stops, at newspaper stands or at the DPB - City Transportation Company shops before getting on board. Immediately after boarding the first vehicle, passengers must stamp their tickets in the nearest stamping machine. An unstamped ticket is invalid. Passengers who are unable to present a valid ticket during a ticket inspection are fined according to the current Conditions of Carriage.

TAXI Es ist günstiger, per Telefon ein Taxi zu rufen, als den Dienst eines Taxis-Stands in Anspruch zu nehmen oder ein Taxi auf der Straße zu stoppen. Unmittelbar nach dem Einstieg ins erste Verkehrsmittel muss die Fahrkarte im nächsten Entwerter markiert werden. Eine nicht entwertete Fahrkarte ist ungültig. Ein Reisender, der dem Kontrolleur keine gültige Fahrkarte vorweisen kann, ist verpflichtet, eine Strafe in der Höhe der geltenden Tarife zu zahlen.
