Hubbell Robinson Jr., Union. Col­lege alumnus, and singer Margaret Whiting were married Wednesday In- the Little Church of the West in Las Vegas, Nev.

A native of SchenSctady, Robin­son Is now a vice-president of the Columbia Broadcasting. He was graduated' from Phillips-Exeter academy, attendeH Union here, and was graduated from Brown Uni-versityTmi 1927.,

Robinson joined the advertising firm of Young and Rubicam. New York City,' the following year. He became assistant, to the head of the agency's radio department, was later put in charge of .radio sta­tion relations, production and tal­ent, and in' 1943 was made associ­ate director of radio.

He is the son of Mrs. Hubbell-Robinson, of Manhasset. LI, and the late Hubbell Robinson, former city resident.

This is the second marriage for Robinson, and theffirst for Miss Whiting. The bride's sister, radio actress Barbara Whiting was maid of honor, and Harry Ackerman, CBS executive, was best map.

A New Year's day dinner will be served from noon until three o'clock at the Mohawk Golf club today, followed by open house for mem­bers from four until seven. At 7:30 o'clock, a special club dinner, for those who have reservations only, is scheduled.
