Narrative:

Drive defensively, obey speed limits and wear seat belts. Use spotter when backing. Park in designated areas. Don't use cell phone or text while operating a vehicle. Allow adequate time for travel from Montrose. Elevation ranges from 5300 feet in town to 9000 feet at field locations. For those not accustomed to high elevation, take frequent rest breaks and use plenty of sunscreen. Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated. Rest as necessary. Act responsibly and use designated drivers while socializing in the evening hours.

Watch Out Situation of the Day Drive Defensively, Arrive Safe

Follow ail traffic rules and siens.

Leave early, plan for delays.

Use Designated Drivers

Don't use cell phones / text while driving.

Pedestrians have the right of way.

Narrative:

-Drive defensively, use seat belts and obey speed limits. Use extreme caution while driving, parking and backing up. Use a spotter when backing. Slow down on rough roads. -We are at 5,300 feet in town and 9,000 feet at field sites. Those from low elevation should pace themselves and take frequent breaks.
