Base Shutdown ASKW SeriesASKW “D” SERIESFUEL DELIVERY TRUCK RADIO REMOTE CONTROLS
Developed specifically for fuel delivery truck applications requiring intrinsically safe, explosion proof handhelds. One to eight remote control functions available with rugged, waterproof, cast aluminum handheld. Typical applications include: PTO, THROTTLE, HOSE REEL, QUERY, and EMERGENCY STOP or any other chassis/tank operation.
Systems are available to connect with all types of truck engine and chassis controls and quick-connect wire harness can be ordered as a “factory” installed OEM option in many new truck chassis allowing “plug and play” installation.
Field programmable for latched, momentary, or safety latched operation. 300 hour continuous transmission with flashing low battery indicator. External receiver “learn” button allows easy transmitter replacement.
Optional pre-wired solenoids are available for pneumatic, hydraulic, or electric control interface as required. Modular components allow for easyinstallation and field replacement. Systems can be specified for Fisher or Rego internal valves, Hannay or Reelcraft hose reels, Muncie or Chelsea PTO’s,and any type of truck engine.
System complies with DOT HM225A requirements for “off truck remote controls” and is available with “Query” option for 5-minute auto shut off after 30second alarm (for LPG tank trucks larger than 3500 USG).Also available with “PTO Delay” feature which automatically opens tank internal valve for 5seconds prior to engaging PTO llowing pump and product lines to charge preventing internal valve slug.
All BASE Engineering products are backed by a 4-year replacement warranty and 24/7 lifetime product technical support.

STOP
An automatic leak detection and shut down system designed by
professional engineers specifically for LPG and Anhydrous
Ammonia bulk transfer. Intrinsically safe unit continually monitors
the offloading process for "rate of change" parameters signifying
broken or damaged hoses, fittings and piping. A leak is instantly
detected and stopped by the closure of the tank internal valve(s).
The truck’s engine can also be stopped and PTO disengaged if
desired. This system automatically activates at the end of each
load. This ensures that the system is fully operational and helps
reduce the possibility of a damaged cargo pump due to product
run out. This unit also "fails safe" and closes the internal valve
with a loss of power or the release of the trailer parking brakes.
An optional "Attendance Timer" is available. This query feature
stops the offloading process if the operator fails to press the
"GO" button within a five minute window. A 30 second warning
will sound followed by delivery shut down. This feature helps
ensure operator attendance during the loading/offloading process.

Part# Description
BAS LDS100A Passive Shutdown
Model # LDS 200AQRFDesigned to comply with DOT requirements for transports with both ‘metered’ and ‘bulk’ discharge capability.
Combines all of the features described above for the LDS100 but includes a handheld with remote control ‘Query’ and ‘Emergency Stop’ buttons. An audible alarm sounds every 4:30 seconds giving the operator 30 seconds to respond by pushing the ‘Query’ button. Failure to push the ‘Query’ button results in automatic activation of the passive shut-down system. Pushing the ‘Query’ button refills the timer to allow 5 more minutes of off-loading. Additionally, the remote ‘E-Stop’ button gives the operator the ability to activate the passive shut down at any time during the off-loading process.
