NOVEMBER 18 – 21, 2019 Course Description: Instructor Candidates demonstrate organizational and teaching skills via participation in practical exercises during the course and must pass a written instructor certification examination. Additionally, the Instructor Candidates must pass the CCW Instructor Level shooting qualification Course of Fire. The NRA CCW Instructor Course will focus on developing the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for Instructor Candidates to teach carrying and using a concealed pistol ethically, responsibly, and with confidence. As a result of participating in this course, the Instructor Candidate will be able to explain and demonstrate the following: How to apply the NRA Rules for Safe Gun Handling when carrying a concealed firearm, basic principles of concealment, the difference between cover and concealment, drawing from the holster, levels of mental awareness, developing the proper mindset when using a pistol for personal defense, clearing common stoppages, and more. Prerequisites: Candidates must be NRA Certified Pistol Instructors who have successfully completed Basic Instructor Training (BIT) within the last 24 months. Instructor Candidates must also successfully complete the NRA Basic CCW course. We are offering BIT free of charge to candidates, on Monday, November 18th and the NRA Basic CCW course on Tuesday, November 19th. Schedule: Monday, November 18th – 8am to 3pm – Basic Instructor Training – BIT. This class is one of the prerequisites for all NRA Certified CCW instructor candidates. This class is offered at no charge to enrolled candidates who have not successfully completed BIT within the last 24 months. Tuesday, November 19th – 8am to 6pm – NRA Certified Basic CCW. This is a mandatory prerequisite for NRA Certified CCW Instructor candidates. This class is offered exclusively to candidates enrolled in our NRA Certified CCW Instructor Course. Course Fee: $175 (RR&G Members) - $225 (non-members) Wednesday & Thursday, November 20th & 21st – 8am to 6pm each day – NRA Certified CCW Instructor. This is the new NRA CCW Instructor course. Candidates must be current NRA Certified Pistol Instructors, successfully completed BIT within the last 24 months, and successfully completed NRA Basic CCW training. Course Fee: $375 (RR&G Members) - $425 (non-members)

In memory of Joe (Joey) Kawika Rowe‐Babb Joe Rowe‐Babb died suddenly on Weds June 13, 2019. Joe was a long me member, Range officer, Board of director, and friend. Joe loved to go hun ng and fishing and was a proud Iron worker and a member of Union local 378. When he wasn't at the club or out enjoying spor ng pursuits, he enjoyed watching his daughter play baseball. He was a friend to all that knew him and he will be sorely missed by all.
