The Mission of Chesapeake Schools is to inspire all students to become passionate life-long learners,

innovative problem solvers, effective communicators and responsible citizens who are empowered to pursue their purpose.

DISTRICT GOALS/OBJECTIVES SUMMARY:

1. Offer focused PD in preparation for revised standards and new testing. Begin transition to new standards.2. Adopt a new math series for the 2012- 2013 school year.3. All students attain proficiency or better on OAA and OGT testing, meet AYP, and Value-Added.4. Begin Walk-Throughs

BUILDING GOALS/OBJECTIVES:1. Meet individual and building goals in regard

to DIBELS, CBM, DRA, OAA scores. (see next few pages)

2. Improve our Value-Added Scores in 4th Grade.

3. Pilot new math and reading in 1st and 4th while using tablets in 1st and netbooks in 4th.

4. Adopt a new math series for the 2012-2013 school year.

5. Begin Walk-Throughs.
