Customized in-house training
From oil & gas professionals that are of non
engineering background to secretaries that
needs to know the general overview of
ups t ream opera t ions , f rom f inance
professionals to petroleum engineering
undergraduates who wished to comprehend
the upstream oil & gas business, this course is a
must attend for everyone that would like to
understand the complete exploration and
production value chain in a non-technical and
easy to understand format.
In the current fast paced working environment and rapidly
growing exploration and production activities, supporting
professionals and non-engineers in upstream oil & gas
companies are demanded more than ever to have an
understanding of most key aspects of petroleum geology,
engineering, production and technology together with its
applications. This understanding is also essentials to create
more productive and efficient communication with your
engineer and other technical colleagues.
Have you ever wondered how do all the various exploration,
drilling, production activities fit together, what part do you
play in the company? What are your role within the total
chain of these activities? What do those complicated
engineering and technological jargon terms actually mean?
What questions can you ask your engineering peers to gain
a better understanding of their circumstances and provide
better support during their exploration and production
phase? What happens if something goes wrong during the
exploration or drilling phase, how will it affect me and how
can you best help?
The goal of this course is to provide better understanding in
history and chemistry of oil and gas, basic geosciences as
related to oil and gas reservoirs, drilling a well, oil and gas
production operation, tools, facilities and processes used,
and challenges in oil and gas business. In general,
participants will get better understanding of basics of the oil
and gas industry from terminologies to technologies, from
geosciences to processing, the economic of the petroleum
products and future trends of the industry in an interesting,
effective and efficient environment.
