Project Briefing:

The Project of SOUTHERN OIL COMPANY in Iraq aimed to establish the reliability of the existing pipeline system infrastructureamong main terminals of onshore Fao Oil Storage Terminal (FOT), offshore Al Basrah Oil Terminal (BOT) and offshore Khor AlAmaya Terminal (KAAT). SPM is installed to keep the same existing export volumes during condition check of an existing pipeline. The envisioned loading operation system requires as early as possible for normal operation, installation of a new 48 " pipeline, two valve station platforms (VS1 at BOT and VS2 at KAAT) and one SPM loading terminal. The 48 ” new pipeline is to be set up atthe new valve station VS1 and branched to the existing BOT Loading Platform-A and the new SPM loading terminal. Moreover,

the 48 ” pipeline is to be branched to another new valve station platform VS2 to be installed near KAAT terminal so as tointerconnect and permit crude loading at the KAAT with this additional pipeline route.

BUKIT TUA PROJECT, INDONESIA

Project Briefing:

PC Ketapang II Ltd (PCK2L) plans to develop the Bukit Tua Field, in the Ketapang Block, East Java. Bukit Tua which is primarily an oil fieldbut with significant associated gas, is located 35 km north of Madura Island and 110 km northeast of Gresik at a water depth ofapproximately 57 m.

The Preferred Development Option is a not-normally-manned Well Head Platform (WHP) which is tied back to a spread-moored FloatingProduction, Storage and Offloading (FPSO), anchored approximately 900 m from the WHP. The Full Well Stream (FWS) from the wells areseparated into gas and liquid streams in the production separator on WHP. The gas and liquid are evacuated to the FPSO via two separatesingle phase 16" gas and 8" liquid infield flowlines. Associated gas is compressed and conditioned on the FPSO and exported via a 12" gas

pipeline to WHP and there onwards via a 12" gas export pipeline to the Onshore Receiving Facilities (ORF) in Gresik. Oil is exported bytandem mooring from the FPSO whilst produced water is treated for overboard disposal.

The pipeline is 20 inch diameter, heat insulated and ends with a23km long subsea section that terminates at the offshore floating storage and offloading (FSO) vessel which is tethered to aMooring Tower Structure positioned in 33m water depth.

Scope Of Work:

Project ManagementDetailed Design and Installation Engineering of the 20’’ Offshore Pipeline Perform Specialist Engineering, using ABAQUS Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
