Pipeline Design Description - RequirementsThe 3 stages of offshore pipelines Design: Conceptual engineering,
Issues of technical feasibility and constraints on the system design and construction are addressed Showing all Potential difficulties and providing required information for the forthcoming pipeline Design and Construction.
Basic engineering,Definition of system concept (pipeline size and grade), provide sufficient detail to define the technical input for all procurement and construction activities. A complete pipeline design includes pipeline sizing (diameter and wall thickness) and material grade selection based on analyses of stress, hydrodynamic stability, span, thermal insulation, corrosion and stability coating, and riser specification.
Detail engineering.Engineering , Procurement Construction and Installation summarize all activities.

Pipeline Installation Requirements
Ultra Deep Water,Pipelines subjected to high requirements of axial tension, bending moments and external pressure.
Pipeline Diameter up to 34”,Fields located far away from shore. Requirements for large diameters export pipelines.

New Challenges at Oil & Gas Production
Floating Production Units
• Mooring in water depths of 2,200m
• Interaction with the riser’s system
• Scenario for platforms with access to the wells (SPAR, FPDSO)
Subsea engineering
• Qualification of risers for water depth of 2,200m, considering CO2 and high pressure.
• Scenario for riser towers, SCRs with lazy wave and other technologies.
• Qualification of thermal insulated flowlines for water depths of2,200m.
• Flowlines for high pressure gas injection.
