Stop the Presses By Sid Dinerstein

Literally! ...No, not all the presses, just The New York Times. I’m doing my share. After fifty

years of being a customer (since the sixth grade in Brooklyn), No Mas! I can live with the blame-

America-first, freedom-hating, forty six days of Abu Ghraib on page one, Republican-bashing, radical

left ranting. I can live with the phony intellectualism of Maureen Dowd or Frank Rich. What I can’t live

with is TREASON!!! I refuse to aid and abet those who aid and abet.

This is not about “Freedom of Speech.” This is about the “Rule of Law.” The New York Times

enjoys the same free speech rights as you and I do. The New York Times does not trump the Con-

stitution. The President gets to declassify sensitive documents. If Congress doesn’t like it, they can

weigh in. If the President and Congress can’t agree, we have the courts. That’s how it works, and

all of them are elected by us or appointed and confirmed (e.g., judges) by those elected. So when

The New York Times says it’s in the public interest to spill the beans on our intelligence gathering

telephone and money tracking programs, they are taking away your vote, and, in this case, they’re

giving it to the terrorists. If it’s true that “loose lips sink ships,” then the Times has a “Nuke the

Troops” policy.

If President Bush and Congress will not bring charges against the publisher (by birth) and editor-

in-chief (by philosophy) of The New York Times, then it’s up to “We The People.” Us. You and me.

So let’s do what we do best – VOTE with our wallets. The New York Times votes for the terrorists.

Which side are you on? Terrorists or America? Cancel your subscription today. Make their blue

blood run. Take the limousines from the liberals. Force them to their knees. Make them cry “Uncle

Sam.”

REAL WOMEN VOTE REPUBLICAN Minutes – by Katherine Kaye Mc Millan, Recording Secretary

MINUTES OF THE JUNE 21, 2006 MEETING President Lisa Marie Macci called the meeting to order at approximately 7:15 pm. Members and guests introduced themselves to the group. Lisa H. Weeks, Palm Beach County Field Director for the Reelect Congressman Clay Shaw Campaign, announced the opening of the Congressman’s Boca Raton campaign headquarters on Federal Highway near Palmetto Park. She related the need for volunteers for Congressman Shaw for neighborhood walks, telephone banks, and other office assistance. Dick Farrel, well known local radio talk show host and REC Committeeman, discussed his candidacy for County Commission for the seat, currently held by Tony Masilotti, and his need for assistance from our group. Right now, Dick Farrel is in need of funds for his filing fee for the race. He is on his way with $2200 dollars in donations thus far, but needs an additional $4000 for the fil-ing fee. Dick is sacrificing a lot for this race. He must go off the air, and he is forced to relinquish his REC seat. Chaplain Charlotte Kapp performed the benediction. Ms. Weeks led the pledge of alle-giance. President Macci introduced guest speaker Robert Kanjian, Esq. who is running for Palm Beach School Board, District 4. Mr. Kanjian requested $5.00 donations from each of our club members. Campaign contributions and contributors are reported by Palm Beach Post. Mr. Kanjian stressed the need to improve the performance of all schools, establish accountability, reward ex-cellent teachers, and improve lives through education. President Macci concluded the meeting by announcing that: Name tags will be ordered from Bill Cwyner. Cost is $6.50. If anyone is interested, please send your check in to the PO Box; Membership for the balance of 2006 is $15 for regular and associate memberships; and, Last, but certainly not least, “World Peace” signed lithographs of a heart-shaped American Flag were being provided that evening as a special gift to our members and others in attendance by Republican award-winning artist, Salvatore Principe of Hearts of Delray Gallery, 10B SE 1st Avenue, Delray Beach, Florida 33444. Telephone: 561/330-7722. Meeting was adjourned at 8:30 pm.
