DONOR MATCH OPPORTUNITY
Due to the generosity of an anonymous donor, we have a first-of-a-kind opportunity for our parishioners: The chance to double the impact of your donation to the Cardinal’s Annual Stewardship Appeal. This donor will match – dollar for dollar – all new contributions made between now and October 31, up to $1 million – resulting in a $2 million contribution to the Appeal. Even if you made a contribution already this year, consider giving an additional $25, $50, or even $100 more – because it will mean $50, $100, or $200 to us! If you haven’t yet made a contribution, prayerfully consider what you can afford – and how far it can go with the match!
If we fulfill this match, the $2 million will allow us to: Lend $400,000 to 6 parishes struggling financially so
that 2,000 Catholics have a home for worship Provide $200,000 in funding for the Catholic schools
that help thousands of children to get an affordable, values-driven education
Train and educate New York’s seminarians to become exceptional priests to their parishioners, including the elderly, sick and poor
Support our priests in retirement at the St. John Vianney Center in the Bronx
Help ignite the light of faith in our youth through religious education and youth ministry offerings across our 10 counties
