Hey Football Fans… Treasurer Jim McArdle has taken over our Lodge’s Super Bowl XLVIII Event planning. Please call the Lodge and leave your contact information to confirm details of your participation in one of our Lodge’s biggest Wildwood fundraiser events.
ER Dan Ryan message: The weather is cooling down outside and
football season is in full gear. Remember to head to the Lodge where we have 4 different
feeds to watch 4 different football games on TV at the same time and plenty of football fans to
share the experience. Come on out to the Lodge.

Reports of Committees : Army of Hope: Over $145,000 was raised, after expenses, at the 9/08/13 picnic at Lacey Lodge. Lodge Auditing and Accounting: The Lodge Auditing and Accounting Committee, in July, October, and January, is required to review the financial records of the Lodge and club for the year-to-date, including compliance with the approved budget and report at the last regular meeting of the Lodge during those months. E.N.F.: Sunday, 10/6/13, ENF Lunch Cruise on Spirit of NJ Boarding is at 11:30am, and cruise 12–2 pm. $55 per person. Gov. Relations: Committee members please remember to submit information on meetings you attended during the month. Membership: 26 members remain delinquent. Scholarship: Elks Scholarship application information for high school seniors is now available at the Lodge, please contact ER Dan Ryan. Student’s family do not need to be Elks to apply. Veterans: Volunteers needed every month on 4th Tuesday of the month at Paramus Vet home at 7pm to help with Bingo. Youth: Soccer shoot coming up in October, volunteers needed. Hoop Shoot will be taking place in November, volunteers needed. Please speak to Dan Ryan if would like to volunteer at these events.

At the NJ State Batter Up Competition, two East District Lodges had young representatives in top spots. Palisades Park/Fort Lee Lodge #2475 and Cliffside Park Lodge #1502 will be sharing the state trophy for scoring the highest total points of all Districts in New Jersey. Athletes honored at Youth Activities Committee Dinner held on 9/27/2013.
