SCC Walk: Friday, October 25th, 2019
The SCC Walk is an annual event designed to increase thevisibility of our school in the community and raise money for
the SCC Angel Fund. The SCC Angel Fund is a tuitionassistance fund for families in need of financial aid. Each year,
we receive requests for tuition assistance from our SCCfamilies. SCC strives to give tuition assistance to as many as
possible but we have been unable to meet the financial needs ofeveryone.
In preparation for the SCC Walk, students are asked tovisit community members, neighbors, relatives and
family friends to share their appreciation for SCC andcollect small donations to help their classmates offset
the cost of tuition. Students may also ask forcorporate/business donations to the SCC Angel Fund. Our hopeis that each SCC family will collect at least $100 and not require
parents to donate.
For every $25 raised by a family, each SCC student in thatfamily will receive a dress down ticket (4 dress down tickets
maximum per student). These dress down tickets are only validduring the 2019-20 school year and may not be used on Mass
days.
For each family that collects $100 in donations, your name willbe placed into raffles for:
1st prize: Apple AirPods with charging case2nd prize: a $100 gift card to Student Styles
For every additional $50 collected, we will add another raffleticket in your name.
The the winning raffle tickets will be drawn at the endof the day on November 1st.
The 25 families who raise the most for the SCC Angel Fund willreceive an SCC Angel Card which will allow free admission to
this year's regular season Saints Basketball Home Games in the2019 - 2020 academic year.

donor sign up page

Last year some enterprising students uploaded pictures ofthemselves in their school uniform and petitioned on social
media and were very successful in raising funds! We also had students who set up tables after weekend Mass at
their parishes!
PLEASE NOTEAlthough Saratoga Central Catholic collects
money for the SCC Angel Fund all year round......when we coordinate with the SCC Walk, in order for a student to
be eligible to participate in the iPad and gift card raffles, themoney must be in to Mrs. Guarnieri by the morning of
November 1st. The number of raffle tickets a student gets toenter into the raffles depends on the amount of money raised bythat student. The raffles will be pulled at the end of the day on
the 1st.Mrs. Guarnieri will extend the competition for the top 25
families until November 30th.Please click here for all the information
