ALL SOULS DAY SHRINE
We are preparing for our annual All Souls Day remembrance shrine. We
invite all parishioners to bring a framed photo of their deceased loved ones
to the parish office. Please write your name and phone number on the back
on the frame. Due to an overwhelming participation we ask that you limit
your framed photos to no larger than 8x10. All photos must be in a frame
and be able to stand. We ask for your cooperation in following these
guidelines.
Nos estamos preparando para nuestro Santuario anual en conmemoración
del Día de los Muertos. Invitamos a todos los feligreses a traer una foto
enmarcada de sus seres queridos fallecidos a la oficina parroquial. Por favor
escriba su nombre y número de teléfono en la parte posterior del bastidor.
Debido a una participación abrumadora le pedimos que limite sus fotos

loving his children and opening the doors to his
heart. We must, however, freely choose to accept God's invitation and join in the feast
of his love. We desire many things and we have restless hearts. We often attempt to quench our desire with things
that are short-lived and shallow. All of us long to be satisfied and at peace. How do we announce to the world, in ways
that are convincing and without judgment, that it is really God whom we seek?
El Papa Francisco nos recuerda de la amplitud de la misericordia de Dios y de su carácter incondicional. Dios
siempre ama a sus hijos con paciencia y abre las puertas de su corazón. Sin embargo debemos escoger libremente aceptar la
invitación de Dios y acercarnos a la fiesta de su amor. En ocasiones deseamos muchas cosas y tenemos corazones
inquietos. Tratamos de saciar nuestros deseos con cosas terrenales, que no tienen significado. Todos deseamos estar

The Antorcha Guadalupana relay runners will be arriving
with the images of Our Lady of Guadalupe and Saint Juan
Diego once again. They will arrive at Alice and then go to
Robstown. They will arrive here at Holy Family Parish on
Thursday, November 2nd between 5:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.*
with Mass following the arrival. These Antorcha runners
will arrive on December 12th Feast Day of Our Lady of
Guadalupe in New York City. We invite you to bring
your friends and family to show your support. For more
information or if you are interested in particapting as a
runner or assisting in some other way, please call the
Parish Office at (361) 882.3245 ext. 13 or ext. 43.
