Parish Mission Statement The Catholic community of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, united in the love of God, comes together to worship the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, to provide for the spiritual growth of each member, to minister to one another’s needs, to be servants and neighbors to all, to strengthen and share faith, to experience the richness of Jesus Christ. The Catholic community of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, aware of its call to be the good news, accomplishes its mission through worship, education, service and personal example.

May God Bless and keep safe in his care our Service Men and Women whose lives are in danger every day. They heroically serve to defend and maintain freedom around the world as well as at home. Our prayer for them reflects our great admiration and love for them. May God bless them, watch over them, and protect them always.

Year of the Family! As we move through the summer months, Bishop Cunningham offers a four practical, powerful, and effective ways to form a domestic church within our own families: prayer and worship, formation, community, and service. To learn more, we invite you to visit syracusediocese.org and click YEAR OF THE FAMILY.

Is This Mass Intention For Your Loved One? It is always a special moment for our parish whenever family members attend a Mass whose intention is for a deceased family member or loved one. In order to add to your celebration of the Mass we invite you to please inform any member of the hospitality team of your presence so you may be offered the opportunity to bring up the gifts during the offertory. This is a wonderful time for the entire community of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton church to join you in offering their prayers for you and for the person for whom this Mass is intended.

Flowers On The Altar each week can be dedicated to a parishioners deceased or living family member. Flowers may be arranged for by calling Rose Bud Florist at 315-474-0613.

Religious Ed Will Be Having a Halloween Family Fun Night October 19. The spin on Trunk or Treat will take place in the religious education classrooms from 6-7:15PM. All Souls Mass of Remembrance On Friday, November 2, 2018, at 7:00PM the parish family of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton will celebrate the Eucharist in memory of our deceased loved ones during a tribute in Commemoration of All The Faithful Departed. In a special way, we will remember those members of our parish family who have died since this time last year. We would also like to honor members of parishioners’ families who had funerals elsewhere. If you would like your loved one remembered by name at the mass on Nov 2nd, please fill out the form below and place it in the office or offertory box. During the Mass, following the homily, the names of those who have died, since this time last year, will be read as part of our own parish Litany of the Saints. When the name of your deceased family member is called, we ask that the selected member from your family bring forward the memorial candle which will then be lighted and placed on the table in front of the altar.

Vocation Reflection The first reading is a prayer for wisdom. The Gospel reading is an invitation to put that wisdom into practice. Pray that our young people seek the wisdom of God and have the courage to put it into practice. For more information about leaving riches behind to follow Jesus, call the Vocations Office 315-470-1468.
