Lunkers in
Marina BayBecky Evans from Maltalanded a king-sized Chinook
salmon as the sun was
setting over Fort Peck Marina
Bay last night. It tipped the
electronic scale at a whopping
28.4 pounds, proving there
are some big ones out there
Becky was using a bright-
colored spinner and hooked
it in the lip. While the action
isnt fast and furious, if youvegot a little patience you could
be reeling one in for yourself
Says Glasgows Harold
Lindell: Ive got three o
them in the freezer at home.
Harolds technique is a large
snagging treble.

All packed up and headed for homeA successful salmon run for Becky Evans and her hubby had them heading back home to
Malta as the dark of night settled in. Although it was their only salmon reeled in for the day,
it was a whopper once again, 28.4 pounds and it pretty well covered the back of their
Merc. They had it strapped down tight for the ride back home to Malta with plans for some
salmon steaks and part of the sh headed for the smoker. M-m-m-m, yummy!
