The 4th Annual Pacific Invitational Female Sale September 27th in Williams

Lake was a very strong sale of outstanding quality purebred heifer calves and

bred heifers. Schockaneetqua Angus, Todd & Pam Marchant saw their Lot 21

CINDY 395A heifer hit 9750.00, their Lot 24 ROYAL LASS 436B heifer sold

to 5250.00. KRS Simmentals, Reanne Sanford saw her Lot 60 BLK BOMB-

SHELL heifer calf top 6250.00. Blast Angus, Brent & Lisa Long’s Lot 18 MISS

MAYFLOWER 36A heifer brought 6500.00, their Lot 17 ZARA 25 heifer

reached 5300.00. Poplar Meadows Angus, Frank& Diane Strimbold’s Lot 38

ERICA 12A heifer rolled to 6000.00, and Lot 35 MAYFLOWER 36Z heifer sold

at 5250.00. Kootney Polled Herefords, Murray Gore saw their Lot 47 BONNIE

KAMLOOPS SALE—TUESDAY SEPT. 30TH

Wow, the numbers just keep rolling in. Another powerful sale of 800 head yearlings and calves were split pretty much and the buyers loved them. Fraser Ranches put the action into the butcher trade with 1975 lb. butcher bulls marking 144.50. Alex Fraser also showing a 2090 lb. butcher bull at 145.00. Ron Eden put the action into our feeder trade as he showcased 928 lb. Angus cross steers at 226.00, his 808 lb. year-ling steers notched 243.25. Ron also had some light 337 lb. Angus h/c’s that marked 329.00 and 320 lb. s/c at 364.00. The DeLeeuw Ranch today set the pace as 100 of their top yearling steers hit the show ring. Their pen of 41 steers 867 lb. marking 237.50, the heavier steers 880 lb. raced to 237.00. Jason Churchill from Armstrong had 810 lb. Angus cross yearling steers notch 244.00. Jim Knight from Vernon saw his 935 lb. Char cross steers power to 225.00, his 870 lb. steers saw 235.00. Sage Hills Farm, Dave & Helen Pelton filled the r ing with 22 head of 886 lb. open heifers they traded to 215.00. The big girls 1005 lb. reached 189.50.
