•All students and a parent/guardian will have to sign an AP commitment form to be enrolled in an AP course.
•After July 31st you must remain in the AP class at least through the first 9 weeks for administrative review and decision. •Be prepared for a SUMMER ASSIGNMENT that may be due prior or on the 1st day of school. AP teachers will hand out summer assignments before school ends and we will also have the assignments in guidance all summer.
•You will only be able to switch to a lower level class after the drop deadline if you have a “D” or “E” average in the class. •Your current grade will be transferred from your AP class to your new class. • Some AP classes do not have lower level classes, so you may be unable to change your class (i.e. AP Chemistry, AP Biology). • ***Changing to a lower level class can only occur if there is space available.
