COSV was founded in 2008

It consists of teachers of Primary and Secondary Education

and a School Psychologist

Presentation of Data:

Difficulty in identifying bullying cases.

Most reports refer to direct forms of bullying (physical, verbal,

destruction of property).

More boys appear as both “victims” and “perpetrators”.

Reasons for manifesting bullying: school performance, emotional and

family difficulties.

The reports are made mainly from adults (teachers, parents).

Addressing Bullying in Schools

Confronting approach:

«Self – reflection and addressing responsibility»

The approach reflects on the zero tolerance of bullying policy

and it follows the procedures of the ministry’s circular (ypp3745)

Non confronting approach:

Forming a peer support group for the “child-victim” based on the

“No Blame Approach” and the “Support Group for Bullying”
