Only recently, free poor quality plastic bags in supermarkets have been replaced by paid, good quality
ones: Environmental movement gaining ground. However, vegetables
are still bagged individually by consumers -
opportunity to educate people.
Cashier lines are always long, and can take a long time even if few people in the

To avoid robberies, every once in a while store supervisor comes by to empty each cashier. This takes up
about 3-5min of each cashier’s time.Opportunity:
Build an automatic deposit system that physically delivers the money to back office, without anyone having to
move, or customers wait in line.
