Every question on the walkthrough, observation, or evaluation form can be linked to specific video learning segments in PD 360. Immediately following the classroom observation, teachers can view a report in PD 360 with specific video learning segments automatically assigned to them based on results of the observation. Watch PD 360 videos on the iPad

You can select, assign, and view preselected videos right on your iPad as you prepare the template and perform the observation. Now you can see the video links that are available and make any necessary changes.

Assign a Target Completion Date

You can now assign a Target Completion Date that you determine at the bottom of the template by which a teacher must view all video content and leave a note in the comment box. As always, you will receive alerts as teachers complete the assigned tasks.

Link up to 3 Videos per Question

You now have the ability to link up to 3 videos per question, giving teachers a variety of options and training on a certain skill. More videos will help you help teachers who need a deeper understanding of a topic, especially after multiple observations.

Control Email and Notifications

By law in certain states, any email sent to an educator’s school account is considered public record. You can now turn off the email function so that observations remain a private part of an instructor’s critical training. You and the instructor will still receive notifications and the observation results in PD 360.

Manage Sharing Options

You now have the option to turn off the automatic upload option so that observed teachers receive the observation only when you are prepared to share the

information. You can also leave the functionality on to increase efficiency and ease of use. You will continue to receive the observation results in your PD 360 account.

Confirm Your Template

Observation 360 v1.5 has increased its privacy settings by automatically confirming your template, school, and teacher before you begin an observation. You will no longer have concerns about performing an observation on the wrong instructor or using a template that lacks the necessary questions that focus on specific goals and criteria.

Observation 360 works online or offline on your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android phones and tablets, and PC laptops and desktops. Instructional leaders can access the templates and resources anytime and absolutely anywhere—online or offline—to provide efficient, effective observations under any circumstances.
