Observance of World Water Day, 2016 Pursuant to the declaration of March 22nd (every year) as the World Water Day by UNO; Oil India Limited also observes the event with various awareness programs. To create WATER AWARENESS amongst the OIL community and also the society, as a whole; Field Engineering Department, on behalf of Oil India Limited has also been organizing various awareness programs since 2010. This year’s theme for World Water Day is “Water and Jobs”. In line with the UN, as a part of Oil India Limited’s observance of the World Water Day on 22nd March, 2016, a Drawing/ Painting competition was organized at OIL’s Nehru Maidan, Duliajan on 21.02.2016 among the students of various schools of Duliajan in four categories : Group-A: Class II to IV, Group-B: Class V to VII, Group-C: Class VII to IX, Group-D: Class X to XII.
