Funnel Charts

Creation of a report where in the Revenue and the Target Revenue can be analyzed for the Line of Business per Year This is the table view showing the data for the Line of Business, Revenue and Target Revenue for the years 2008, 2009 and 2010.

We may have to build 3 different sets of reports to get the results what we need in older versions of BI.

In funnel charts, the threshold indicates a percentage of the target value, and the colors provide visual information for each stage.


Trellis View

Creation of a report where in the Revenue and the Actual Unit Price is shown for each of the Order Statuses per Quarter.

The table shows:

• Revenue and Actual Unit Price for the Order Statuses

• 1-Booked, 2-Fulfilled, 3-Shipped, 4-Billed, 5-Paid, 6-Cancelled and 9-On Hold

• 4 quarters of the years 2008, 2009 and 2010

Creation of a report where in the Billed Quantity and the Target Quantity can be analyzed for all the offices in a business unit.

Performance Tile

In the new release an enhancement to the Views is added called the Performance Tile. This view focuses the reader’s attention on a single high level aggregate measure in a manner that is both visually simple and prominent. The figure on the right displays the Performance Tiles for the measures – Discount Ratio, Average Order Size and Unit Price. It also shows what is desired for each of those measures. This design highlights the key numbers that will be of interest to the audience.

Recommended Visualization

Recommended Visualization feature enables the BI engine to automatically choose the best suitable graph for the given data.

Breadcrumbs

Breadcrumbs let users know their current location within Oracle BI and the path they took to get there. Breadcrumbs are active links that users can click on to return to the place from which they started. They are displayed at the bottom of the page as shown in the highlighted box. Users can click a breadcrumb or the breadcrumb overflow button to navigate to a specific location on their breadcrumb trail.


Export Entire Dashboard to Excel

This feature provides the ability to export an entire Dashboard or a single Dashboard page to Microsoft Excel 2007+. When you export the entire dashboard, each page is included on its own sheet in an Excel workbook, and each sheet is given the name of its corresponding Dashboard page.
