A philanthropist who has made multimillion-dollar contributions to a number of worthy causes, Amy Griffin recently invested in retooling Oakencroft Farm to make premium grape juice. Amy Griffin’s financial backing has allowed Oakencroft Farm to continue employing the natural farming techniques that have enabled it to produce a superior product for nearly 30 years.

Under the direction of “the First Lady of Virginia Wine” Felicia Warburg Rogan, Oakencroft Farm began playing a pivotal role in the emerging Virginia wine industry around 1983. Operating under the moniker Oakencroft Vineyard & Winery, the farm was one of only six wine-making operations in the entire state.

The farm was purchased by new owners in 2008 and began manufacturing high-quality grape juice rather than wine. Today, Oakencroft Farm produces three varieties of premium grape juices made from three distinct varietals: Seyval Blanc, Traminette, and Chambourcin. The professionals at Oakencroft are firmly committed to the belief that healthy farming practices and responsible land stewardship work together to create a premium product.
