Quinceaneras confirmation

certificate or a letter stating

that she is taking confirma-

4. Saturdays are available at

2:00 p.m. as long as the re-

quested date is not in the sea-

sons of Advent and Lent and

there are no other events

happening that day.

Food Donations It’s that time of year

when the fast approaching

holidays get us into first gear

running around looking for the

most perfect item to purchase

our loved ones.

There are people in our

community though that don’t

have the funds to go out and

make a purchase for their

loved ones. Some don’t even

have the cash to have a nice

dinner.

This is where you come

in. In years past you have

shown your love and generos-

ity to those who don’t have

what we do by donating can/

box foods to our local pantry

to distribute. We are going to

ask that you open your heart

again this year and donate food

for Thanksgiving. From now

till Thanksgiving we ask that

you drop off food at the en-

trances of the church. Once

we gather it all together we

will take it to our pantry.

We are looking to have

a lot of nonperishable food

collected and gathered for the

Mass on Thanksgiving Day at

St. Francis. So, if you can get

your items in by then it will be

greatly appreciated. From

there the food will be distrib-

uted to the proper institutions

assisting the poor of the area.
