Prove your GOT FANDOMNESS by joining Nutley Public Library's Game of Thrones Pool. Points awarded based on character fate and bonus questions. The winner will receive a Gift Card to Medieval Times and bragging rights. For adults, ages 18 and older, and Nutley Library Cardholders only. NUTLEY’S LA MONTE PAPER FACTORY THURSDAY, APRIL 11 AT 7 PM
Join Nutley historians David Wilson and Eric Faeder for an interesting program on The La Monte Safety Paper Factory from its beginnings in 1871 through the final days at the plant in 1969.
More that 50 pictures of the staff and facility will be featured, some that have never been seen before in public. Memorabilia such as payroll checks, paper samples and vintage advertising will be displayed. La Monte was one of the top three employers in Nutley, and a company that changed the world of banking with one of the most underrated inventions of all time.
ANTHONY BUCCINO BOOK TALK & SIGNING THURSDAY, MARCH 14 AT 7 PM
Anthony Buccino has just released a new volume in his series Nutley Notables: The Men and Women Who Have Made a Memorable Impact on our Hometown Nutley, New Jersey. He will be reading some excerpts at the Library.
Volume Two co-mingles the people with the history of Nutley, and you are bound to discover a few surprises. This volume pays a lot of attention to the many women who volunteered their time and tal-ents to make Nutley a great hometown as well as highlighting major league sports talents who lived in town and left pleasurable memories with chil-dren and adults. Books will be available for purchase and signing for $20.

DR. DUBIOUS AND THE AGNOSTICS HOT JAZZ SATURDAY, APRIL 13 AT 2 PM
Enjoy a concert of traditional classic hot jazz, swing and blues with this popular and talented combo. These experienced artists enjoy performing songs by Jelly Roll
Morton, Bix Beiderbecke, Louis Armstrong and more equally as much as their audiences enjoy listening to them. Since 1998 Dr. Dubious and the Agnostics has performed concerts in the New Orleans and Chicago style of jazz throughout the tri state area, including many local libraries and outdoor concerts.
