Instructions for after the morning worship service today. The Congregational Meeting that will take place around 10:45—11am, please grab your coffee and cookie and have a seat in the sanctuary as you wait for the meeting to begin.
*Children’s activity bags are available in the south coat rooms & wing. *Offering Boxes are at each of the door entrances—your Sunday offering can be placed in these! *Coffee time will be served in the Gathering Place this morning! *The back 5 rows of chairs on both sides of the sanctuary will be reserved for parents with young children

A nursery is provided from birth to age 3. Our nurseries are located right next to the Welcome Center located on the south west corner of the sanctuary.
Children In Worship Activities—3 year old—Kindergarten are dismissed during the service and meets downstairs (stairway in the Gathering Place by the elevator)
The AED Defibrillator is located in the church office on the 2nd shelf on east wall
Cookies will be served in Children in Worship for 3 yrs.—Kindergarten
In case of inclement winter weather the decision to cancel services will be made by 7:30 a.m. for the morning service and 3 p.m. for the evening activities. Church meetings will be cancelled if the Lynnville-Sully School cancels classes or is dis-missed early for bad weather. Cancellations will be announced on KGRN, KCCI, WHO TV and www.sullyfrc.org, through our FRC email list and now TEXT ALERTS! SIGN UP for TEXT ALERTS on our website at sullyfrc.org on the home page at the bottom of the page. You will then be noti-fied by a text when services are cancelled!
GIVING AT CHURCH You can Securely Give Online now at www.sullyfrc.org. Your infor-mation is held securely by an SSL encrypted connection. This infor-mation will remain private and will never be given away to third parties, other than to process your scheduled contributions. You can also give by mail or our deacons pick up a weekly offering each Sunday morning.
ACH Contributions - ACH Contributions are a convenient way to give directly from your checking account. Contributions are taken out the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month. Stop into the church office to pick up a form.

CHURCH FAMILY Gerald Droppert was admitted to Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines,
Thursday, October 28. He had a surgery and had a stent put in on Mon-day, November 1. He anticipates a couple more stents put in at a later time. Surgery went well and he is back home recovering.
Shawna Maasdam was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She be-gan chemotherapy treatments this past week. Prayers for Shawna and her family as they walk this cancer journey together.
CHRISTIAN SYMPATHY We extend our Christian sympathy to Don & Hollie Nunnikhoven and
family in the death of Hollie's grandfather, Evan Gwin, age 81 who passed away Saturday, October 30. Graveside service was held on Thurs-day, November 4 in Guernsey, IA.
You and I know that prayers often work better than pills and I’m living proof. Thank you for your prayers during heart & triple bypass surgery. The doctors & nurses couldn’t believe I recovered so quickly and fully. Thank you to Mel-don Vos for his visit and to PT for his phone call and to Pastor Wayne for his phone call. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: The STARS Afterschool program is in need of substitutes that can be called upon in case a leader or helper are sick or can’t make it for the week. Please contact Julie Van Manen at [email protected]. Children in Worship is seeking two Leaders starting in January. The Leader welcomes the kids, leads memory work and activities. This position is shared with three others so you would be responsible for approximately 12-15 Sun-day’s throughout the year.
POINSETTIAS - If you would like to give a poinsettia in memory of a loved one or would just like to share a plant for the holidays, please fill out an order form located in the church office & online at www.sullyfrc.org. The cost is $8. The deadline for ordering is Sun-day, NOVEMBER 28 and Karna Ver Ploeg will pick the poinsettias

The entire Sunday School department has a goal to raise $1,500 for a special Christmas offering to Build a Home for a Family in Haiti (although building two or more homes would be great!) through Sa-maritans Purse. After hurricanes, earthquakes and other disasters families and, at times, whole communities are left with damaged or destroyed homes. The offering for this project will begin Sunday, November 7 and conclude Sunday, December 12.
LOOKING AHEAD Wednesday, November 24, 7:00 pm—Thanksgiving Eve Service followed by Dessert Fest in the Gathering Place. Saturday, December 4, 11—1 pm—Faithwalkers Soup Dinner in the Gathering Place Sunday, December 12, 9:30 a.m. —Sunday School Christmas Program during the morning worship service!
OFFERING
OFFERING for the week of October 31……………………$6,187.00
THANKSGIVING OFFERING envelopes are in your church mailbox. This year our Thanksgiving offering is designated to our Mission Fund. This will be collected at our Thanksgiving Eve Service on Wednes-day, November 24 as well as the morning worship service on Sun-day, November 28 by placing your offering in the boxes located at the entrances.
South parking lot update: The cement work is a little over half done! The cement work continued throughout the week. Since the 3rd Quarter offering, an additional $77,767 has been given to the Building Fund. Included in that is the final distribution check from the Wilma Rozendaal estate in the amount of $52,606. A couple of bills have been paid on this project in the amount of $108,555 leaving a balance of $18,915 to date in the Building Fund. Estimated project cost is $220,000.

ed to join a class! Your children can be picked up at 11:30 a.m. each Sunday. An offering will be collected each Sunday. This is a great way to teach kids how to tithe.
